2 w/o baby boy is nameless and just can't quite decide between Monty or Kyle - thank you x

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
QuodPeriitPeriit · 27/12/2016 01:49

Love Monty, dislike Kyle

FellOutOfBed2wice · 27/12/2016 01:58

My first thoughts are neither!!! Kyle makes me think of Jeremy Kyle (not great!) and Monty makes me think of the series of children's books from the 80s about a dog who wore glasses.

user1482802649 · 27/12/2016 01:59

Ah shame you don't like either we love both! :) so will def be one of them - thanks for your vote on Monty, it's definitely a great name!

I like Monty, sounds fun and clever. Kyle I don't like at all.

Haggisfish · 27/12/2016 02:16

Monty. Kyle I don't like and have taught too many naughty ones!

Pluto30 · 27/12/2016 02:41

Monty.

Kyle is very outdated.

ILoveAntButHateDec · 27/12/2016 02:43

Sorry! I don't like either but your baby - your choice

Scoopmuckdizzy · 27/12/2016 03:30

Month! If I was to have a DS4 I would name him Monty.

Scoopmuckdizzy · 27/12/2016 03:31

That's supposed to say Monty! Not month....

Catinthecorner · 27/12/2016 04:11

I know a Kyle. He's a crazy smart and generous bloke. So I'm voting Kyle

Sophronia · 27/12/2016 07:05

ginaddict · 27/12/2016 07:44

I would go monty. Although make me think of monty python GrinHmm

AyeAmarok · 27/12/2016 07:45

Monty. Montgomery officially though, yes?

PlumsGalore · 27/12/2016 07:47

Neither, Monty sounds like it's from an Enid Blyton book and Kyle is just, well let's say the complete opposite.

MrsMontgomerySmythe · 27/12/2016 07:47

A vote for Monty - based on my username if could only be Monty.

MiniMaxi · 27/12/2016 07:53

Very different feel to them - to me Kyle is a modern, preppy American-style name whereas Monty is old fashioned, sweet and English.

Off top of head can't remember if you've said whether you have other children yet or not - worth considering if it "goes" with existing names or types of names you may wish to use in future

Congrats by the way!

DartmoorDoughnut · 27/12/2016 07:56

I vote Kyle because our 3 week old is Monty Wink

Timefor2 · 27/12/2016 07:57

Monty definitely.

Alexthekid · 27/12/2016 08:00

Another vote for Monty! Love it!

fanniboz · 27/12/2016 08:02

Definitely Kyle
