Monty is lovely, and I know a cute little Monty.

I also know a lovely Kyle who is neither naughty or a thug.

Both names are on opposite ends really. Sort of like Jeremy or Jason. It will depend on your own personal taste.

My vote would be for Monty. I don't know anyone with either of these names although I know both Jeremys and Jasons!

Monty

Would it be Monty on the birth certificate, or Montgomery? Monty is great as a diminutive, but I wouldn't christen a child with a nickname.

Kyle is awful, and sounds like a cousin of Wayne Rooney.

Monty is a name for a dog in my mind!

Could also be Montague on the birth certificate.

Brokenbiscuit · 28/12/2016 12:01

Don't like either, I'm afraid, but Monty is better than Kyle.

Monty is a great name!

Kyle however is really quite awful.
You could also use Montague or Montgomery?

I work with a Montague nn Monty and he's really lovely and exceptionally smart :)
