Definitely Jessica

reindeerbitesback · 15/12/2016 00:17

Jemima, but I'm a sucker for any name that can be shortened to Mimi.

Allalonenow · 15/12/2016 00:18

Jessica

Pluto30 · 15/12/2016 00:18

Jemima's closely associated with racism in the US, so I'd avoid it for that reason.

Don't like Jessica. It's outdated. But Jessie is an alright nickname.

Veggy10 · 15/12/2016 00:19

Or Gemma/Jemma?

OP posts:
badabing36 · 15/12/2016 00:44

Jessica not Gemma in either spelling.

Manumission · 15/12/2016 00:49

Jemima, by a long chalk.

Jessica is hugely overused now and a bit nothingy.

Gemma is okay but not very exciting.

Manumission · 15/12/2016 00:50

Do you like Tabitha? That has the same kind of feel.

Sophronia · 15/12/2016 04:56

Definitely Jemima

sonlypuppyfat · 15/12/2016 05:51

To me Jessica is Frank Spencers daughter, and jemima is a doll! But I think I'm just showing my age

Satisfactorylemon · 15/12/2016 06:05

Jessica rabbit or jemima duck? Hmm..

CakeRattleandRoll · 15/12/2016 06:25

Prefer Jessica.
How about Jessamy?

marmitecrumpets · 15/12/2016 06:35

Love Jemima

PosiePootlePerkins · 15/12/2016 06:36

Ooh I love Jessica. Can be Jessie or Jess. Lovely name.

SelfCleaningVagina · 15/12/2016 06:37

Jemima. It's less overused and not dated like Jessica.

CPtart · 15/12/2016 06:37

Jessica. Jemima seems really infantile, a doll's name yes.

MollyHuaCha · 15/12/2016 07:16

Jemima is lovely.

Newlywed56 · 15/12/2016 07:23

Absolutely adore jess if it's an option

ThoraGruntwhistle · 15/12/2016 07:35

Jessica is lovely. Jemima is either a cat or a rag doll, and I have never met a pleasant Gemma. No offence meant to any lovely Gemmas.

60sname · 15/12/2016 07:38

Jemima. I don't think it being racist on the other side of the Atlantic is a good reason to avoid.

littlefirtree · 15/12/2016 07:41

Jessica. I don't like Jemima at all - it is awful!

autumngold6 · 15/12/2016 07:51

I prefer Jemima

Alisvolatpropiis · 15/12/2016 08:31

Jessica
