We are debating if we should go with Simon or Paul??

Paul

Dozer · 24/09/2016 22:02

Retro!

Simon has the option of Si.

ofhorse · 24/09/2016 22:03

Paul. So cute!

spankhurst · 24/09/2016 22:03

Liking the 80s vibe - I went to school with a LOT of Simons and Pauls! Grin Personally, I prefer Paul.

DietCockBreak · 24/09/2016 22:05

Simon, lovely name.

ageingrunner · 24/09/2016 22:05

I prefer Paul too. I'm old though, so they both sound like normal names to me. In fact I know a few of both.

Whooshy · 24/09/2016 22:05

Thanks Blush yes, we are a bit funny with names! We have an Amanda... She's only 1.5!

Oh fab names. I love Amanda. There wont be many of them in her school.
I think Simon goes better with Amanda but I also love Paul

Sleeperandthespindle · 24/09/2016 22:10

Both great. And I love Amanda too.

Vixxfacee · 24/09/2016 22:11

Both names are really terrible.

Chippednailvarnishing · 24/09/2016 22:13

Sorry but Simon and Paul are names for 30 year old blokes who enjoy train spotting and garden centres.

Floralnomad · 24/09/2016 22:15

Simon is lovely , not keen on Paul .

Fauchelevent · 24/09/2016 22:24

Paul Simon?

MumOfTwoMasterOfNone · 24/09/2016 22:36

I'm not a fan of either sorry OP. Plus most Pauls I know are total, total wankers. And unfortunately I know a few (due to my age I think). Look up the meaning, I'm sure it says 'wanker originally from the area of wanksville' or something very similar Grin

SueDunome · 24/09/2016 22:38

Fauchelevent Grin

squoosh · 24/09/2016 22:41

There are way too many Pauls in the world as it is. Sometimes it feels like every other man is called Paul.

So that leaves Simon I suppose.

TeaAndALemonTart · 24/09/2016 22:41

Paul is awful. I feel really sorry for Sam Faiers who had to call her baby that, as it was her boyfriend's tradition.

He's called baby Paul and it sounds terrible.

dontpokethebear · 24/09/2016 22:43

chippednailvarnish you have perfectly described my 43 year old Paul Grin

dontpokethebear · 24/09/2016 22:45

I should have said husband!

He is not a wanker all the time

Sophronia · 24/09/2016 22:46

Both quite unusual nowadays - I like them! Think I'd go with Paul

DramaAlpaca · 24/09/2016 23:02

I'd go with Simon, I quite like it.

MulberryBush12 · 24/09/2016 23:06

Paul is a lovely name.

PunkrockerGirl · 24/09/2016 23:10

I like both, but particularly Simon. It's not that common these days, so unusual(ish) but not ridiculous or made up.

elephantoverthehill · 24/09/2016 23:13

Art.

CakeRattleandRoll · 25/09/2016 03:56

Paul
