My dp loves this name.
I love it to but think most people would hate it?
Honest opinion on willow ?

I love it!

ThomasRichard · 07/06/2016 12:20

I really like it. It sounds very graceful.

rainbowstardrops · 07/06/2016 12:24

I really like it Smile

ShrimpNGrits · 07/06/2016 12:26

It makes me think of the film with Warwick Davies but I doubt many people would associate it with that tbh.

It's a very pretty name!

Gileswithachainsaw · 07/06/2016 12:28

I like it.

makes me think of buffy the vampire slayer.loved that show Blush

iloveberries · 07/06/2016 16:20

Gorgeous and feminine but not too girlie.
Willow could be a CEO

samk15 · 07/06/2016 16:34

I thinks it's so pretty! And a little bit hippy. I've got 30 weeks (ish) of pregnancy to convince my DP that if we have a little girl this is the name!!

Wish me luck!

ListenToYourHeart · 07/06/2016 16:36

Love it, very pretty!

wobblywonderwoman · 07/06/2016 16:38

I do love it but my worry with it is if the child is not very willowy. but I know this may be ridiculous

RiverTam · 07/06/2016 16:40

Lovely.

Bigfam · 07/06/2016 16:40

I love it too, if we find out we're having (another Shock ) girl at the 20 week scan end of July, I'm putting my foot down and using it (dp's family will hate it!)

imjessie · 07/06/2016 18:16

I have a Willow who is nearly 13. It's such a cool name and she is willowy so it suits her . I fell in love with it as soon as I read it in a baby name book . I get a bit annoyed that there are more around now due to pink and some tv presenters naming their daughters it ! Hmm

ThoraGruntwhistle · 07/06/2016 18:21

I think it's a lovely name. I only know one Willow and she's not at all willowy, but it still suits her.

Jooni · 07/06/2016 19:02

Very pretty, graceful name. It might not be to everyone's taste, but it's hardly an unheard-of choice nowadays, so I think people will be more open to it than you think. You'll never find a name everyone likes - might as well pick one you both love.

CauliflowerBalti · 07/06/2016 19:03

Lovely.

callherwillow · 07/06/2016 19:04

I love it :) My Willow is actually a cat!

RedCrimson · 07/06/2016 19:07

I know a baby Willow, it's gorgeous!

marblestatue · 07/06/2016 19:10

Lovely name.

tigerdog · 07/06/2016 19:12

My Willow is DDog! And we are always coming across other dogs with the same name. I do love it though, I would say go for it if you like it.

Alisvolatpropiis · 07/06/2016 19:14

Shrimp me too!

I do like it, though might be a bit of a burden for a non-willowy child/adult. Like being a clumsy Grace, or a miserable Felicity.

lemoncakes · 07/06/2016 19:20

Love it. Only met one Willow in 29 years!

Ditsy4 · 07/06/2016 19:23

I once had a Willow in the crèche. The name on paper conjured up a small, lithe little girl. She was beyond chubby! A little character.

Disregardme · 07/06/2016 19:28

I love the name Willow. It's a gentle, beautiful name.

CPtart · 07/06/2016 19:31

Sorry I hate it. There are a couple at DS school, I don't think it's quite as unusual as people like to think. It's a bit like 'Summer' or 'India' in my book. A bit wet and hippyish.
But your baby your choice.

Marcipex · 07/06/2016 19:32

I like it for girls, not for boys though.
