We like too many names, it's ridiculous. We seriously don't have a favourite...

I thought I'd turn it into a little game, that you can help with! Please tell me your favourite and least favourite, I'll then put those into separate piles; if someone then likes the opposite, it'll go back - it makes sense in my head! So, what's your favourite and least favourite (pick only 1).

Do like Leo though. Wink

Please come back with the big reveal!!

Magnum's suggestion is both genius and cruel to dozy people who may be hormonal and sleep deprived.

OneMagnumisneverenough · 02/05/2016 22:19

I'm beginning to have the thought that the OP was yanking our chain. I've spent about 10 minutes comparing the two baby pictures trying to see if it is definitely the same baby and then I thought what the feck am I doing,? It's a baby name thread on an internet forum and i'm not Magnum PI.... regardless of what my username is! :o

Maryz and then I started thinking about who would dress a day old baby in other than a sleepsuit....the realised that the OP didn't say how old he was and also I took mine home from hospital in shorts and t-shirt.

Hushabyelullaby · 03/05/2016 00:15

Wow I guessed the surname! And I still stick by Alexander James (then a nod to your DH's brother, Sebastian) Walker

Lol Maryz, quite a few so far! Grin

blueskyinmarch · 03/05/2016 09:35

In one of her early posts the OP says her baby is 4 days old but that second picture she posted looks like a much older baby to me.

OneMagnumisneverenough · 03/05/2016 09:39

I missed that bluesky - I did debate in my head how old the 2nd pic baby is but it could still be very young, I think the outfit makes you think older but the hands etc still look very young baby. I brought my baby home from hospital in shorts etc (it was warm and we'd been in a few days and he'd puked, shat on or didn't fit everything I'd brought, I asked DH to bring in more clothes and that's what he arrived with :) I'd already had to cut the feet off some baby gros for giant baby.

julfin · 03/05/2016 19:34

BlueSky / OneMagnum - I got to this thread a day late, so I didn't contribute (although very happy with the final shortlist!), but one thing that did leap out at me was that second photo - he looked strikingly older to me too. Made me wonder whether this thread was for some sort of (not very thorough) research rather than a genuine question. I hope not! Will keep watching...

ANewLittleBoy2 · 03/05/2016 20:10

Hi all, I've been having account trouble...! Also, I've been putting a lot of time into my newborn. I'm actually rather disappointed in the last responses! Just because I haven't managed to get on for a few reasons, I'm now lying and doing it for research? Hmm the second picture is actually older than the first picture! So your judgements are wrong Smile we have decided on Isaac Sebastian (yes, I was also a little embarrassed to admit that) sorry if no one likes it, but it's right for him. Thanks all! Please don't be too quick to judge next time Sad

LadyAntonella · 03/05/2016 20:17

Lovely choice OP! Isaac is gorgeous.

OneMagnumisneverenough · 03/05/2016 20:18

Apologies OP - I was sincerely hoping I was wrong, there have been so many threads in baby names where it's turned out to be a hoax, I am really glad I was wrong and glad you reached a conclusion on the name by yourselves. Flowers.

Welcome little Isaac!

OneMagnumisneverenough · 03/05/2016 20:19

Severely disappointed he isn't Lucas Kai Walker though - maybe next time? Wink

LittlehumHams · 03/05/2016 20:22

Favourite - Luke

Least favourite - Griffin

ANewLittleBoy2 · 03/05/2016 20:23

Haha, maybe for a second little boy ;)

Very happy with our choice! He seems to be attracting the NN Zac... It's nice, I guess! I really love his name now and I don't think I would have picked it without this thread Smile

LittlehumHams · 03/05/2016 20:24

oops sorry ..... you have picked one.

josie25 · 03/05/2016 20:28

Phew glad you came back! I've been checking back so often as I was totally over invested in what name your gorgeous boy would end up with!

Sometimes it's only when you discount a name that you realise how much you love it.

Glad you went for Sebastian as a middle name because of the meaning and Isaac goes lovely with it.

However, I'm getting an early vote in for Leo as Isaac's baby brother (too soon, no?)

OneMagnumisneverenough · 03/05/2016 20:29

Great thread btw OP I'm sure your son will be a delight to you, little Lucas, the current twinkle in his Dad's eye, will be equally awesome...:o

ANewLittleBoy2 · 03/05/2016 20:31

I do love Leo! I was struggling to pick, but when Isaac went, it was a little bit like I was rooting for it and when it had gone, I was missing it! Isaac and Leo is great though Wink

blueskyinmarch · 03/05/2016 20:31

Yay Isaac. That was my favourite all along! Sorry I doubted you OP. I think we all just like playing detective in the absence of an outcome!
