We like too many names, it's ridiculous. We seriously don't have a favourite...

I thought I'd turn it into a little game, that you can help with! Please tell me your favourite and least favourite, I'll then put those into separate piles; if someone then likes the opposite, it'll go back - it makes sense in my head! So, what's your favourite and least favourite (pick only 1).

Leo Sebastian is great!

Or Noah Sebastian!

WiIdfire · 01/05/2016 23:51

Leo Sebastian is rather lovely.
Alexander James is fab.
Luke S Walker is just plain awesome.

Have you tried these out on dh yet?

WiIdfire · 01/05/2016 23:52

I think Alexander Sebastian is a bit of a mouthful. Too many syllables.

OneMagnumisneverenough · 01/05/2016 23:54

Luke Sylvester Walker then you could have Luke Sly Walker. Or...........

Lucas Kai Walker :o :o :o

PamelaPatriciaYouCanCallMePam · 01/05/2016 23:55

Op I'm beaten. Bought I could make it from beginning and see it through to the end but it turns out I can't hack the pace nowadays. Do let us know what Leo thinks of his name xx

TheWildRumpyPumpus · 01/05/2016 23:59

I love Alexander as first name, but with Sebastian as middle it's quite a mouthful (and a nightmare for them to learn to write at school!).

Honouring your DH's brother is lovely, think you should definitely keep it as a middle name.

So I'd vote James Sebastian Walker or Alexander James Walker depending if you are set on Sebastian as middle name. Would be a lovely first name too depending on how the family would feel about it.

Ludways · 02/05/2016 00:07

I like Leo Sebastian, after all that. So title should be, I have 44 names but I'm only going to tell you 42, watch you all fight then go with the other two. lol!

Tryingthisonefornow · 02/05/2016 00:52

Enjoying this, I have an alexander james though so nice to see the approval especially after the terrible day I've had

Go on alexander james! Grin

dotdotdotmustdash · 02/05/2016 01:05

Alex, Ben or Jamie :-) He's lovely.

josie25 · 02/05/2016 04:49

I love this!!

I vote Leo Sebastian!!

I know they weren't of the original 42 but it's deffo the best name. And the mn committee has helped you see this! Sebastian has to stay for the meaningfulness and Alexander Sebastian is too long

Or maybe you should start a new thread with Leo and Sebastian in the running and see if they make it to the end:

I have a shortlist of 44 names.....

He's gorgeous btw Flowers

LadyAntonella · 02/05/2016 07:44

Alexander Sebastien is lovely. It's a lot of syllables but who cares? My full name (not including surname) has nine syllables and it's never even crossed my mind that it's too many.

Alexander James is probably nicer though. We used a family name for DD's middle name (one I don't actually like as a name - I like Sebastien which I really like) and I wish we hadn't actually, or at least I wish we'd added another middle name which I actually liked!

LadyAntonella · 02/05/2016 07:45

*unlike Sebastien which I really like

Cookiesandcoffee · 02/05/2016 08:16

If middle name is Sebastian (which I think you should definitely go for) then my vote changes to either Alexander or Leo.

Personally I prefer Alexander as a name, and I wouldn't worry about the syllables too much. But do still like Leo. Try them out for the day and report back Smile

septembersunshine · 02/05/2016 11:39

Favourite: Alexander
Least Favourite: Riley

Op, have you decided on Leo Sebastian?
I have a Leo, so of course I think it's lovely. I also think Sebastian is great as a middle name. They do complement each other.

CutYourHairAndGetAJob · 02/05/2016 12:47

I really like Leo Sebastian!

eatsleepfeedrepeat · 02/05/2016 13:38

Even though my favourite name left is James I think Alexander Sebastian really suits him from the pictures. Doesn't matter that it's long as you rarely have to write your full name before adulthood anyway! Congrats by the way on your gorgeous boy

hiyahen · 02/05/2016 13:40

This if the funnest (yes it is a word in my world) thread on MN I have ever seen. And I didn't even take part, just read the whole thing now.

I am now beside myself to find out whether the baby is going to be called Leo Sebastian (how cute). Please come back and tell us OP, I know you have a new baby to attend to so I'll be patient BrewCakeChocolate

BoboBunnyH0p · 02/05/2016 14:38

Favourite Alexander
Least Alfie

I feel more excited about this child's name than I did when naming my own DS SmileBlush

Somerville · 02/05/2016 16:25

Lucas Kai Walker Grin

Can't believe we haven't heard a name!
