Wilder as a girls name

I am due any day now and been pretty set on a name most of my pregnancy but earlier today I heard a parent calling out to their daughter 'Wilder' in the park and I just fell in love with the name.

I couldn't see any threads on here about the name and it seems pretty unusual for a girl. What are your opinions?

Just want to agree with people saying how tiresome it is to have to explain your name to people, I have personal experience with my married name even though I've not changed it on everything. I'm sick to the back teeth of correcting the way people say it, answering all the 'OO that's unusual, where's that from' followed by a chat about it. I don't know how my husband has put up with it all his life.

I wouldn't choose it personally but I like it! I have a very unusual name so do all my siblings...you learn to love your name...eventually! if you're not put off by it after all these comments on the thread then just go with it!
