For me it sounds very religious, which is fine if that's what you're going for but might be tricky if she's an atheist. I'd be worried that it would get shortened to 'Hev' as well and that just makes me think of that woman from Eastenders!

I think you lot have made your point.

And upset a poster whose stillborn child is called Heaveny.

Well fucking done.

neonrainbow · 30/04/2016 19:34

Oh but its ok cos this is mumsnet and anyone can say whatever they want, after all they're only saying what everyone is thinking. Hmm

PunkrockerGirl · 30/04/2016 21:37

Op asked for an opinion on a name on a public forum.
If you don't want opinions then why ask for them?

Alisvolatpropiis · 30/04/2016 21:46

If you ask for Internet randoms opinions you will get their brutally honest opinions.

neonrainbow · 30/04/2016 22:14

There's giving your opinion and then there's being a twat.

Alisvolatpropiis · 30/04/2016 22:39

I don't think my response was twatty

SuckingEggs · 01/05/2016 10:09

You don't need to be brutal to be honest.

minesapintofwine · 01/05/2016 10:09

I know someone called Heaven. I am always unsure if I like it. She is Phillipino if that's relevant

minesapintofwine · 01/05/2016 10:13

Sorry for your loss finding Flowers

unicornthong · 04/05/2016 12:57

Not sure what there is left to contribute here but...

@Finding, I'm so sorry for your loss. In your case, Heavenly Angel is a perfect name because your little one will remain a tiny, sweet baby girl forever and stay true to her name.

For OP, though, I'm not sure the name Heavenly Joy will 'grow up' with a person to adulthood IYSWIM? I couldn't think of another way to put it, I hope you understand what I mean. Sad
