Hi all on here,

I'm a very long time lurker - have been since my first ever pregnancy. However, unfortunately, we haven't had a child since a couple of weeks ago. IVF and 6 years later, 3 little miracles entered the world and they belong to us. I haven't wanted to take part with all the threads until I was officially a mummy. They are almost 3 weeks and I can just about begin to see their personalities come through, as multiples tend to be early, I've only just really been able to spend lots of time with them. Names are now a must.

Yes, we have had lots of ideas, but we have to think of 6 perfect names and that's becoming a really difficult task. We thought about family names, but none are particularly lovely. However, we are fans of 'filler' middle names, but I know they're not particularly liked on here, but if none sound right with our chosen names, we may not have middle names, as much to my family's disgust! We just haven't decided.

Sorry about the long post! We have 2 daughters and a son... Boys names are therefore a lot easier. Yeah, we have a lot of ideas, but there's just too many.

We like classics for boys or biblical, so names like:
Alexander
Benjamin
Charles
Daniel
Henry
Jacob
James
Louis
Matthew
Oliver
William

For girls, we vary a lot, we like such a variety:
Annabelle
Charlotte
Ella
Grace
Isabella
Lily
Olivia
Rose

There are more and definitely open to suggestions.

Thank you all so much and very pleased to be a part of this community :)

Oh my goodness they are getting more gorgeous with each pic and look so healthy and alert. I'm so glad you're all at home together now. Are they sharing a cot or in their own? Do they seem to snuggle up to each other and want to be close or like their own space? (I've always wondered how multiples must feel out in the big world after being all squished up with various limbs all wrapped up together!)

JSarah · 22/04/2016 20:25

Thank you so much, it's crazy to see how they grow in each picture!

They all have their own cots, but at the moment, they sleep together in the day, but at night they don't. I just feel more comfortable with that and I like them to have time together, but being used to sleeping alone too!

They love to snuggle with each other, Gabriella is actually the least baby to want to snuggle (she's the biggest, so maybe that has something to do with it!) she enjoys lots of cuddles though! Whereas the other two enjoy being right next to each other! They are all fine in their own space though, but not for any longer than a couple of hours.

Smile

From your list I would go for Jacob or Daniel, Charlotte and Isabella or Annabel, with Grace/ Rose as middle names but most of your boys names are ones which I love. Most of the girls names on your list are very popular, which may or may not bother you. I have a Meredith as I wanted a traditional-ish name to go with my boys' traditional names but not used as much.

If I were in your shoes I think I'd go for
Daniel James/ Jacob William
Charlotte Rose
Isabella Grace

Congratulations, they are absolutely beautiful. Making me desperately broody again! Enjoy them!

Many congratulations they are so beautiful! I have two beautiful children as a result of IVF so I know a little of what you have gone through, you must be so thrilled!

All of the names are gorgeous, if you like biblical how about Gabriel or or Seth. Lily is lovely, could be paired with Flora for Spring names.

daisydalrymple · 05/06/2016 19:55

SabineUndine · 12/06/2016 18:51

I'd give each baby 3 names, tbh. My niece nearly got 3 and I think that's so nice. I adore the names in your list, unweird and classical. A few more that I like: Phoebe, Iona, Emilia, Violetta, Cecily, Matilda, Mirabelle, Eloise, Annis, Sacha (also Alexandra, which it's short for). And Sabine and Undine, of course!

MummyMaisy · 13/06/2016 11:56

They are adorable!!! Massive congratulations Flowers
