How would you spell Jayden for a girl?

I used to teach a lovely girl called Jaiden.

I know a Jayde.

I would spell it S O P H I E or something else better.

Spell it phonetically, c h a v v y

Jade is very pretty. Not warming to Jaidan etc.

Jayden is an overly popular name for children. It would be the equivalent f naming a girl Liam or Craig in the 90s. Imagine the stick you'd get having a boys name in school

She'll spend her life with people assuming she's a boy when they see her name. My sister is Jordan and constantly gets 'Mr' and got put in a boy's group in school. She hates her name.

Im sorry but the spelling is the least of your worries. please don't do it. I know you didn't ask for the opinion on the name tho

IME children get less stick over names than adults suppose.

If Jade would be her nickname anyway why not just use that as the full name?

I've just had a trawl round a family history names searching website and the only female spelling on there was Jaydene.

I work in a reception class and we have five different spelling variations of lily-may and three of lily. I am v judgey of "quirkily spelt names". I also have a long name which has several commonly used spellings of it. Don't do it op, you are setting your child up for a lifetime of people misspelling her name, Jade is lovely, keep it simple!

I've no grey intellect. Yet, I can decipher that she didn't require opinions of the name itself but rather assistance in finding a suitable spelling
