Don't like it.

Bambooshoots14 · 06/08/2015 14:01

It's nice... For a rabbit Grin

Haggisfish · 06/08/2015 14:02

Erm do you have a son called tim, too?! Don't like it either, sorry.

WorldsBiggestGrotbag · 06/08/2015 14:02

No.

PallasCat · 06/08/2015 14:04

Absolutely not, sorry.

Quinandthem · 06/08/2015 14:04

Why

Pippidoeswhatshewants · 06/08/2015 14:05

It's a great name for a tortoise!

mrsb83 · 06/08/2015 14:06

Expecting DC2 and a friend suggested it. Husband loves it but I'm not convinced.

Definitely unusual, would raise eyebrows and IMO falls into the same camp as naming your child Elf or Twinkle.

MarieJeanne · 06/08/2015 14:06

I quite like it as a nickname, but not a serious, on the BC name. NN for what, I'm not sure.

misscupcakes · 06/08/2015 14:07

I intensely dislike it.

AnneSansTete · 06/08/2015 14:07

God heavens no

CherryBonBon · 06/08/2015 14:07

To say I despise it would be a monumental understatement.

GummyBunting · 06/08/2015 14:08

It's intensely awful.

GlitzAndGigglesx · 06/08/2015 14:08

Don't do it

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 06/08/2015 14:10

It's really cute, but very risky. And probably prone to treading. Makes me think of MR Topsy Turvey from the Mr Men.
It's adorable for a cute kitten, However.

Ekkwhine · 06/08/2015 14:16

I love it! But then I adored Elfey for out DD but was shot down by DH who firmly put his foot down.

Turquoisetamborine · 06/08/2015 14:17

I detest it.

mrsdavidbowie · 06/08/2015 14:19

Topsy from Uncle Toms Cabin

Canyouforgiveher · 06/08/2015 14:20

it is also the name of a character from Uncle Tom's Cabin.

It doesn't feel like a real name to me.

OTheHugeManatee · 06/08/2015 14:22

Rabbit.

Gintonic · 06/08/2015 14:29

Don't do it. Imagine how she will feel filling in job applications with a name like that.

Rosieliveson · 06/08/2015 14:30

It does sound like a pet's name rather than a child. I might go for Tabitha and then use nn Topsy if I really liked that name.

SoupDragon · 06/08/2015 14:32

How could anyone hate their child so much to give them the actual name Topsy? Assuming it isn't a nickname.

OTheHugeManatee · 06/08/2015 14:33

If you must, call her Topaz, nn Topsy.

Though my grandparents had a dog called Topaz once.
