Just wrote a post and now it's gone, apologies if this appears twice.

I have met two little girls called Savannah, ( I know what are the chances?) And it didn't make me raise my eyebrows at the time. In two different countries, UK and west Indies, but both with British mums.
The names suited them and it's a much better non traditional name than some others.
No one I knew commennted on their names either.
Alivia is really not good, sorry.
Livia is a Roman name, maybe as alternative?
Emily is fine but very normal!

justonemorethread · 17/07/2015 09:58

But please update us once you have chosen, so annoying when people disappear!

StockingFullOfCoal · 17/07/2015 10:03

Alivia shudder I really dislike seeing names with a Youneeq spelling.

Emily is very blah but the best of a bad bunch.

Savanna is chavvy.

ch1134 · 17/07/2015 11:45

Alivia makes me think of the Spanish (relief - phew).

ReginaBlitz · 17/07/2015 20:31

Savannah chavvyGrin tell that to the royal Savannah!

littlejohnnydory · 17/07/2015 20:34

Of those, Emily.

I love the name Emily but it's too popular for us. Your other names are made up and she would spend her lifetime correcting spelling. Particularly Alivia which is just awful.

smokedgarlic · 17/07/2015 20:51

Emily

BikeRunSki · 17/07/2015 20:58

Emily as it is the only that is spelt properly or a real name.

BikeRunSki · 17/07/2015 21:00

I've never understood Savanna(h) as a name. I'm a geologist, so it's like calling a child Tundra or Permafrost to me.

BakeItOff · 17/07/2015 21:03

so that went well

luckiestgirlintheworld · 17/07/2015 21:11

Emily.

And I don't really like the name Emily.

chocolatechip123 · 18/07/2015 09:41

Tundra? Permafrost? I like them...

soundsystem · 18/07/2015 09:43

Emily

mrsnoon · 18/07/2015 09:58

Of the 3 I'd have to go for Emily, despite it being a bit dull and boring.
Just out of interest, what accent do you have?

yomellamoHelly · 18/07/2015 09:59

Emily. A classic and think it's an elegant and "composed" name. (Plus our dd has it as a middle name!)

Spelling of other two put me off. (Rather like Olivia.)

MamaLazarou · 18/07/2015 10:19

Savannah. The world is already knee-deep in Emilys and Alivia is made up.

Kennington · 18/07/2015 10:23

I cannot say the first one without practise and savanna will be prone to being spelled incorrectly
Think of which name should be printed at the top of a CV
So Emily would be my choice!

GatoradeMeBitch · 18/07/2015 10:39

Olivia or Savannah - or your dd will spend a lot of time correcting spellings in her future.

Emily is nice!

Haffdonga · 18/07/2015 10:50

(Off topic)

Is the capitalisation of MEAN in your name a clue to why you started this thread, OP?

Hmm
Cornberry · 19/07/2015 20:36

I love Savannah - but with an H.
