Savanna

I have a 12 year old Savannah. She's not trailer trash! in fact she's at a very naice private prep school because I'm a teacher at it so there Grin

I quite like Alivia and Emily too but they're much more everyday. I don't know any other Savannahs.

MitzyLeFrouf · 15/07/2015 23:25

Alivia doesn't look like a real name.
Savannah is an exotic dancer in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Emily is the only sensible option......and yet I still can't endorse it. I just dislike it so much!

Roomba · 15/07/2015 23:46

Emily!

ReginaBlitz · 16/07/2015 00:01

Savanna but with an h. Emily if you want your dd to blend into all the other Emily's there is and to be referred to as Emily h or Emily g etc in school it's a boring name.

DramaAlpaca · 16/07/2015 00:03

Of the three, Emily.

PageNotFound404 · 16/07/2015 00:05

Emily

Savanna(h) (needs the H)

Alivia (that's not a proper name)

MajesticWhine · 16/07/2015 00:07

Emily

Emily or Savannah. Savannah could have the nickname Anna and that's quite nice.

Emily is lovely.

I can't find anything nice to say about the other two.

Unoriginalusername123 · 16/07/2015 06:01

I hope you're not an English teacher Wink

Losingmyreligion · 16/07/2015 08:49

Olivia.

NerrSnerr · 16/07/2015 08:54

Emily.

Everyone will think Alivia is Olivia.

Bakeoffcake · 16/07/2015 08:55

I know so many Emily's, my dd has 3 friends, I have a niece and know several others. I think it's lovely but the equivalent of Jack, in that it's so well used.

I think I'd go with Savannah, with Anna for short.

SquirrelledAway · 16/07/2015 08:55

Savanna is spelled correctly - if you're naming your daughter after the ecosystem rather than the US city. Perhaps OP had a wonderful safari holiday a few months ago and is following the Beckham naming convention?

1676 babies were named Alivia in the USA in 2013, I think they would be a little surprised to find that they don't have a "real" name.

SoupDragon · 16/07/2015 08:56

Emily.

Or Olivia.

PlainHunting · 16/07/2015 08:57

the USA is very different to the UK.

bobajob · 16/07/2015 09:02

Emily.

Maybe Emilia as a compromise with Alivia.
