Wanted: girls name. Must be fabulous.

Why am I pregnant again ffs? Stupid Catholic upbringing. My body will an unsalvageable wreck and we will be living in penury for the next two decades.

Anyway. Need a girls name. I am utterly devoid of inspiration, being interested only in grab bags of Skips and having naps.

Already have an Agnes and an Enid. Surname Stephens.

Dislike: frilliness; 'ah' endings; 'classic' names.

Like: fabulous names. I was keen on Ramona the last go-round, but think I might have lost my love for it.

Any suggestions?

Totally non-sweet?

But Vera does go beautifully with your previous names.

Damn, both already suggested.

Ethel - too close to Enid

Mavis - works badly with Stephens

Jean - meh

Joan - quite like this

Doris - used as an insult for anyone a bit dippy I my neck of the woods.

Vivienne/Vivien?

Arsenic · 25/05/2015 12:03

Maggie is fab in its own right.

QueefOfTheDamned · 25/05/2015 12:03

Veronica can be shortened to Vera so gives options.

Love Valerie though :)

Vivienne? Since V seems to be the way to go.
