I like both Harriet and Emily but as Harriet is the most under-used atm it has the edge so I would say Harriet. Smile

As you can tell from my username I love Emily. Its super popular here in the north west though - there is always at least one other Emily every where we go including in her class at school. So you need to work out if that will bother you

Allthatnonsense · 08/05/2015 19:00

Emmeline? Just to make her stand out from the other Emilies. It sounds so very similar.

sweetpeame · 08/05/2015 19:36

Emily
April
Harriet
...in that order. Emily is probably popular but that may or may not bother you? It's a classic name so I'd be less worried about its popularity iyswim. April is nice, wouldn't be too many around. Not keen on Harriet at all.

Madamecastafiore · 08/05/2015 19:37

Harriet.

Excellent name.

Emily is a bit weak.

April a bit meh!

3luckystars · 08/05/2015 19:39

I think Harriet is absolutely lovely. I cant use it because SIL just had a baby Harry so the grandparents would have a Harry and a Harriet so I couldn't use it but its a great name.
I know a girl called Emily and she is very kind so I think that's nice too.
April is also nice, I had it on my list too for ds.

In summary, all great so it depends on your surname really. Good luck.

CatsAreLikeChocolates · 08/05/2015 19:39

Is it just me that thinks April should be reserved for babies born in that month? And May... and June... OK, maybe that's just me.

All three are lovely, but for me Harriet is the best. An underused classic!

Dreamiesrcatopium · 08/05/2015 19:43

Ooh definitely Harriet. My would be baby name (can't have babies) Even my favourite dolly was called Harriet as a child. Also love Cora.

QueenB14 · 08/05/2015 19:49

Emily. I wanted it for my Dd but exp vetoed it

Lovely name Smile

Runnaway · 08/05/2015 19:51

Love Harriet and Emily in equal measure. Lovely choices OP.

Lunastarfish · 08/05/2015 21:40

I think April is lovely.

Emily is way too popular for my liking and Harriet ends up with Harri nn

Marcipex · 08/05/2015 21:47

Emily.

Not keen on April (ape for short?) or Harriet, but do like Hattie.

scribblegirl · 08/05/2015 21:49

I know a Harriet - I love it but you need to make your peace with Harry, because it will happen

Emily - sooo overused here, I like jt but couldn't!

Actually really love April.

johendy · 08/05/2015 21:55

Harriet then Emily then April...

Marcipex · 08/05/2015 21:55

We only have one Emily in nursery. I think nearly everyone switched to Amelia.

SycamoreMum · 08/05/2015 21:56

Harriet - I know two and they are both lovely ladies and pretty too Smile

BagsyThisName · 08/05/2015 21:57
