Just curious as I would pronounce it
Eve - Lynn but when I was chatting to DM about girls names she said she would pronounce it Ev - Lynn.

So wise mumsnetters, who is correct??

This is the girls name we have chosen for our baby due in april. I've always pronounced it eve-lin but when discussing with friends the other day a few pronounced it ever-lin. I think it is personal preference really. Eve-lin for me

Your DM is right. Ev-lynn for a girl. Pronounced Eve-lynn, it's a boys' name.
