Unique, surfy, hippy names please!!

DH and I are expecting twins (boy and girl) and we really like slightly out-there hippy surfy names! Any suggestions?

If I was a hippy surfer I'd have a girl called Maeva, which means 'welcome' in Tahiti.

Well, to be fair to the OP I do know a woman in Cornwall who paints the most beautiful surboards, for surfers not for hanging on your shabby shit wall called Lamorna Penrose .

I hope the OP takes it all in good part. There are a lot of very good and usable names here, as well as funny ones. I approached it as a kind of brainstorm and put down obvious jokes as well as ones I am quite serious about.

A little gentle playing, not being mean to OP. There are indeed some nice names when you read through.

I've come across quite a few 'surfy' types and they seem to have remarkably normal names. So, Sarah or Emma for a girl, Dan or Dave or Martin for a boy.

Thing about jokes is, it does bump the thread. So I hope the OP has had a lot more genuine suggestions as a result of the jokes.

I know siblings who are Ari and Sia. Love it - unusual and cool without being stoopid.
