DH and I are expecting twins (boy and girl) and we really like slightly out-there hippy surfy names! Any suggestions?

Bicnod. I know a Brian who makes surf boards, lots of Daves in the windsurfing community (but also Roger, Geoffrey & Nick).

OP are you looking for authentic surf names or names chosen by free spirited mothers?

Pantstootight · 16/12/2014 08:25

Sage

Unisex and pretty cool I think.
There was a free style male skier in the last winter olympics called Sage, don't remember surname, and he looked like a really cool dude. However, I think it works well as a girls name too.

Pantstootight · 16/12/2014 08:27

JessieMcJessie - re Jeremy: I couldn't sleep last night, but I got myself off to nod off by listing names for the OP in my head. I ended up having giggling fits which disturbed the dog, who was also trying to sleep. He prefers Seacucumber.

Some others:

Lark
Meridian
Morwenna
Meadow

Heels99 · 16/12/2014 09:24

Summer-bay and sea cucumber.
Sorted.
Thee will not be 5 others in the class.

Aussiemum78 · 16/12/2014 09:29

Lol at Australia shane, kylie and Bali. That wouldn't be very exotic here. It would be called bogan. Names don't cross cultures so well sometimes!

I like bronte for a girls name (bronte beach). Layne (layne Beachley).
