Just wondering what names are popular where you live (please say where) ?

I am in NE Scotland, names that are especially popular (in babies and younger children) are:

We considered Harris for DS 5 years ago and now it is in the top 20 in Scotland. I hadn't heard of any other boys with that name before but now I know at least 4!

Any version of Eva/Ava/Evie as above.

Isla is another one that seems to have romped up the charts in a relatively short space of time.

theoniyone - seems to be at the moment Harry is very popular, Harris if you want to go 'Scottish', Callum has been constant. I know four Oscars born in the last 18 months though! My DS is none of the above but I'd I'd mull them all over!

Anecdotally loads of variations on Lachlan too. Love it as a name.

Lachlan is a great name.

Unfortunately once a name shoots up in popularity I go right off it.

Naming this DC in 7 months is going to be fun!

No more DC for me :-( I was just doing some party invites for DS and noticed how popular some names were getting!

Orlaith/Orlaugh/Orla

Soooo popular atm.

I know bunny it was on my list for DS but heard of a few 'friends of friends' who had them... Had to rule it out, but maybe for a ds2, who knows...

Agree about Orla.

No-one is using it back home in N.I. but it's really popular over here. Not one of my favourite Irish names.

I loved Lachlan but DP vetoed that along with loads of other names I loved. Sadly because of our surname we couldn't use Ferguson or Fergal which I am still disappointed about!

That should be Fergus, not Ferguson!
