This is a front runner for dc2. On here it seems popular but I only know of one!

Three, all under 2, if it's a girl around here she's; Evie, Ellie, Olivia or Isla (usually hypenated with May/Mai/Mae).
SE London.

Bakingtins · 27/10/2013 06:47

Lots. First one is nearly four, thought the name was lovely but unusual. Since then, every other baby girl!

4 under 5, there's 3 in my sons dance class alone.

Emsmaman · 27/10/2013 07:10

I know two under 5 yo

AmIGoingMad · 27/10/2013 07:12

None. Its such a pretty name.

When I asked on here about popularity of dd's name there seemed to be lots about but in real life where I live I've yet to meet one ( or anyone who's heard of the name before!)

Might be worth asking acquaintances - only problem with that though is that they might decide you also want their opinions on it then!

Grumblelion · 27/10/2013 07:15

2, both under 3.

cafebistro · 27/10/2013 07:25

I know 1, my daughter Grin. She's 5.

MonkeysTypewriter · 27/10/2013 08:09

1 at nursery, I knew 1 at a baby group. I have come across 100s of children at nurseries and friends and baby groups.

I think the trouble with its popularity is that it has gone from incredibly rare (other than Isla St Clare, Isla Fisher) to reasonably popular so I think it will date a child to a certain era - nothing necessarily wrong with that mind you.

This is my all time favourite girl's name, so I would have had this dilema if I had produced a girl. I have gone for DS names either side of the 100 mark in popularity, but I think I would have still gone with Isla for a girl as I love it so much

pinkgirlythoughts · 27/10/2013 08:14

I know 3, all toddlers, plus an Islay in her thirties
