The meaning of Claudia (the Latin claudus means disabled/lame) would put many off, I think.

Clara is fine, if a little trendy. How about Clare or Clarissa?

dyslexicdespot · 16/09/2013 08:56

Clara- love it.

Slainte · 16/09/2013 08:57

Claudia, though I like both.

Claudia.

The meaning doesn't put me off in the slightest, and never has. It would have zero bearing on your Claudia. :)

Clara is nice but feels too, I dunno, dusty and prim.
