Tabitha & Jemima

I have always liked both these names. What do they say to you?

I don't mind tabitha but I taught a few horrible jemimas, so that name is ruined for me!

Solidly middle-class Not that that's a bad thing.

I prefer Tabitha with Lydia, and Miranda with Jemima.

Always have loved Tabitha - I'd put it with Artemis

First thoughts are:

Tabitha - cat
Jemima - puddleduck

Prefer Jemima.

They say to me that someone has read a lot of Beatrix Potter!

Love tabitha (this is the name i wanted all through my last pregnancy but we had a boy in the end) only slight thing that put me off was not so keen on it being shortened to tabby

Animal names. DH is a vet, so has vetoed Tabitha every time.
Jemima I love though - reminds me of the rag doll in Play School.

Tabitha is a cat, Jemima is a playschool doll ;-)

I love Tabitha but decided against it as really can't stand the NN Tabby. Not really a fan of Jemima I'm afraid!
