Boys names which can't be shortened. Help!

Really struggling to come up with a name for DS2 (due in a few weeks)
I like slightly older names, as does DH. But I've got a real thing about people shortening names! DS1 is Harry and there are a few people we know who insist on shortening it to Har it drives me mad! So we're after a similar name for DS2.
Any suggestions welcome

I have a Theo, no one has managed to shorten that yet.
I also love Seth and Jude is fab too

Both my children have names which are difficult to change except in a contrived way - but my dad still manages to do it. There is a tradition in my family of calling people by totally different nicknames which is even worse for you I guess.

There are some things in life you just can't control probably some deep seated tribal thing about how humans relate to each other. People rarely use a nickname the person (not the person's mum!) has actually said they don't like, to be fair.

I know a Jude called Judy.
Also Seth is called Sef.
A Neil called Nelly, and his name was chosen specifically as having no diminutive.
I don't think you can control any of it tbh.

Harry is the nickname for Henry

I have a Luke, he is called Lu as a nickname by me mostly, also Lukey-Lu or just Lukey. This is only by close family though and a couple of friends.

I have two DS, one of whom is a Rowan. His name is never knowingly shortened, or lengthened, even after several years at school! one family member tried Roey once... It didn't suit and it didn't stick!

My Joe gets called J or Jay (and we gave him Joseph on his birth cert so he could choose as an adult)

My nephew is Owen but his Grandad called him Oz or Ozzy and my other neff is Robbie who became Robster to the whole family.
I was christened as Lynda but my Sad called me Lula, Lulabelle or even blossom!!

Not read all the responses but a lot of the suggestions already seem to be shortened names like Ben, Sam, Joe, Tom and Dan. What exactly don't you like about shortened names? Also a lot of boys nicknames tend to be based on their surname. At school there was a boy with a surname of Stewart who everyone called Stew and a lot of my husband's school friends still call him by his surname.

Exactly luanmahi, it is naive to think that you have any control - they get all sorts of nicknames.

Thank you to all who have come up with suggestions
Our surname will almost certainly lead to nn's as DS's get older. DH has always been referred to by surname by lots of friends.
I just don't like names that can be shortened- do I need a reason why? We all have preferences. And as for me being naive. Yeah right. But thanks anyway.

Psychologists will tell you that the use of a different form of a given name (either by family in youth or others as a person grows older) is about how the speaker views that person. DHs step mother calls his father Ben... his real name is Henry which no one has ever used, the family call him Terry which she refuses to use. She also calls DH Mikey(he was only 27 when she married his father) which he hates so good luck with finding unalterable name for your baby because I think whatever you chose ( Max, Jude or Heath are my favourites) other people will do what they like with it!!!!

How about just a name you like the sound of, no matter how many syllables? It's not like naming a dog when you have to consider yelling it across a field.

Just to clarify, I have absolutely no issue with nicknames. What I don't like is names being shortened- especially when they don't particularly lend themselves to being shortened (see OP).
Some lovely suggestions have been made and we think we may use one of them
