Spring names for girls?

Trying a different tack as still stuck with names! Our DD will born in April, so I thought maybe a Spring-related name. Some we've considered:

Persephone - but we have a friend called that already.
Olwen - (Welsh goddess of flowers and springtime) - I like but DP not keen.
Freya - (Nordic fertility Goddess linked with spring growth and flowers) DP loves but I'm not keen as very popular not so long ago
Maia - (Spring goddess) - lovely name but very Maya is popular and a friend's DC called this already

Generally we like Celtic and more unusual names (we have Welsh and Scottish heritage) - not so keen on popular names like Lily, Rose, Iris, April etc.

I'd be grateful fro any help, I'm sure her name is out there somewhere but atm I'm stumped!

Eirlys (Snowdrop) - I love this and think it would work fine anywhere

Trickier for pronounciation but still pretty
Llinos (Linnet)
Enfys (Rainbow)

The English - well, and Scottish DP come to that - would struggle with the Ll sound, which is a shame as Llinos is lovely.

Eirlys is nice, but April's a but late for snowdrops isn't it? Maybe if she's very fair ... (my Dsis's middle name means "snowy" in Welsh incidentally).

I would have suggested Olwen but as that's out...

Antheia was a Greek goddess of spring.
Ayida was Haitian gooddess of rainbows.

Bit 'out there' but once knew someone called Jonquil. A small pretty fragrant yellow flower that blooms in March/April.

I quite like Willow, it's a lovely name, but it's not "the one!"

How about Avril? French for April and very pretty.

Rhubarb beat me to it- 2nd vote for Avril here Smile Whilst French in origin, lots of Scottish Avrils (but NOT common- only 3 registered in Scotland in 2011 (not in top 100 for England or Wales that year)).

Maia was Bhuddah's mum I was told when expecting DTs. Dunno if that's the same spelling though.

Oh, I didn't notice you said Ester too. I really like it but have an adult friend Ester so it would seem weird.

You've reminded me actually, I did have a dream early on in the pregnancy where I dreamt we called her a star name (she was called both Estelle and Star in my dream).

Intrigued now and dipping into the Internet, not necessarily Spring themes but unusual:
Seren (meaning star)
Adara (meaning beautiful)

Chloe means "green shoot", but may not be 'unusual' enough for your tastes
Florentina means "blossoming"
Yvonne means "yew"... they flower in spring
Danica means "morning star"
Cassiopeia is a girls name as well as a star

Donkey thanks :) you're on the right track, I love Seren but already know a baby Seren.

Can't possibly use Stella though! Pre-motherhood, I used to like a drink or seven two. When I started putting on weight I called my new fat belly my baby Stella, for quite some time!

Dymphna - Young Deer
Finscoth - Wine Blossom
Meriel - Bright as the Sea
Sorcha - Brightness/Light

Dymphna would be following a theme - DS's name means little deer :)

Meriel's nice, will mull that one ...

Primrose is a bit cutesy, and Chloe's a bit mainstream, sorry Grin

Quite like Pascal but she probably won't be born at Easter itself - unless she's early.
