Spring names for girls?

Trying a different tack as still stuck with names! Our DD will born in April, so I thought maybe a Spring-related name. Some we've considered:

Persephone - but we have a friend called that already.
Olwen - (Welsh goddess of flowers and springtime) - I like but DP not keen.
Freya - (Nordic fertility Goddess linked with spring growth and flowers) DP loves but I'm not keen as very popular not so long ago
Maia - (Spring goddess) - lovely name but very Maya is popular and a friend's DC called this already

Generally we like Celtic and more unusual names (we have Welsh and Scottish heritage) - not so keen on popular names like Lily, Rose, Iris, April etc.

I'd be grateful fro any help, I'm sure her name is out there somewhere but atm I'm stumped!

Fiadh - pronounced fee-ah, Irish for 'little deer' -I think it's lovely

Can also be spelt Fia if the 'dh' at the end is confusing, although I prefer it

Nia / Nyah ( means purpose)

What about Poppy? I also love Eponine too, though I don't think it's related to Spring... I like the name Aisling (pronounced Ashling) which means 'dream, vision, inspiration' in old Irish. Orla is Irish for 'golden woman'. I think Orla is really pretty and I've only ever heard the name once, Orla Kiely. I know you may not want to share the surname but I find that helpful as some names go with some surnames better than others...

Love Nia, however DS's name is taken from the same legend as Nia, they're lovers. (Some of you will know DS's name now!)
It'd be like calling your DCs Romeo and Juliet, I couldn't do it!

Orla, Aisling, Fiadh and Ayla all lovely, but not "the one" yet. (Picky aren't I, sorry!)

Maybe stretching it a bit, but I think the name Eléa is really pretty - means 'light'.

Ok I'll give you more Irish names as they are my particular thing

Niamh - pronounced like eve with an N in front, starts sounding like knee and then into eve - 'neeeve', means radiant
Aoibheann - pronounced 'ayveen', there are other, easier spellings of the name
Aoife - 'eeefa' - means beautiful
Roisin - 'rowsheen', little rose
Réiltín - 'rayilteen' - little star
Ciara -keera, kiera
Maeve - mayiv

I know you weren't sure about flower names but I thought I'd suggest Iris because I think it's beautiful and not so girly girly as other flower names. It also means 'rainbow' in Greek.
Also, love Anya - no idea what it means but I've only met one Anya IRL.

Lili......Lily; Mai......May; Nia means brightness.
Were Welsh and these are some names we here often.

I have to add Cerys (pronounced Kerris), which I believe means 'love' in Welsh :)

Azalea, Dahlia, Fleur/Flora, Florentina (means blooming), Laverne/Laverna means born in Spring.
Anthea symbolise Spring in poetry quite often.
Cerelia, born in spring too.
Chloris minor goddess of spring.
Marcella/Marceline after Mars the roman god for which March is named for?

I thought of Laverne last night, Pasiphae, it's still uncommon and makes a change from Laura or Lauren.

How about herb or spice names, Saffron (from the spring flower, crocus) or Anise?

I have a friend who called her daughter Meadow and another one who called hers Clover if you fancy either of those (following on from Pasiphae).

I love Nia, but in legend Nia is the lover of DS's name, so that's out!

Nana is actually my gran's name! (Her real given name, not a NN for gran). But we know a Nana (Danish I think) so that's out too!

I do like Cerys, have done for years. I'd gone off it by the time we has DS though as it's become so popular but I think it might have to be the back-up name if we can't think of anything else! (Must check with DP what he thinks of it!) My side of the family (Welsh) would be delighted if DD has a Welsh name, and I do like Cerys Matthews, come to think of it, I saw Cerys Matthews live in Glastonbury with DP before we were together, so maybe ...

However my best friends has just named her LO a name that could be shortened to Cora, so would seem a bit odd!

DP said the other day he was keen on the name Fallon.

I couldn't get over the picture of a woman with 80s big hair which invaded my brain every time I heard the name. I googled it and sure enough, there was a Fallon in Dynasty and the Colby's. I didn't even watch them! Funny what your brain picks up / remembers without you even really being aware of it!
