Wow Lockets loving Elektra and Pandora - just the 'Carmen Electra' (not relevant for this age group?) and ridiculous 'show us your box' jokes ok Pandora? Love Pandorable though!! DH veto-ed it for no1!

White British?? You do know Lysander is Greek? And that Wales and Scotland are two of the countries that form Britain?

Hope you find something that suits.....

You seem to like Greek names OP with your Lysander and your liking Electra and Pandora. Is is a theme you wish to continue or not really?

countrykitten · 02/01/2013 14:54

What I mean is - do you want more Greek names/suggestions or other names? Shame you don't like Welsh or Scottish names - can't tempt you with Megan or Dylan for example? I LOVE the name Dylan!

SledYuleCated · 02/01/2013 15:01

Not unusual, but my first thought was Josephine.

CaringMum28 · 02/01/2013 21:29

Hey
Yes I do like Greek/ classical names, also longer names generally, thanks for the Josephine suggestion.
Heard the name Pomeline once (French I think) not sure on a nickname, is it too out there?

Strange that you don't like Celtic names but have chosen a very Scottish nick name for your son. Xander is mostly used as short for Alexander or sometimes in it's own right and is very common in Scotland. Didn't you mean Zander? It's hard to see where the X sound comes from Lysander, in my accent anyway.

What about Persephone or Phaedra for a girl or Remus for a boy?

stleger · 02/01/2013 22:37

Cornelius/Cornelia and Raphael/Raphaella. My dd2 would have been Raphaella if I'd thought of it at the time.

countrykitten · 03/01/2013 19:31

Florence is gorgeous!

Roseformeplease · 03/01/2013 19:38

White British? How do you define that? Surely our lines are too blurred for that to be easy. What about James - King of England, born in Scotland. Or Mary, a Biblical name used in both places. Do you mean no Celtic names? How can you not like all names from two entire countries? Weird.
