Two babies needing names!

Last week our three beautiful babies made a surprise entrance into this world and they could not be more gorgeous! As they thought we're now the very proud parents to two little boys and a girl. With our DD we just knew her name when we saw her and decided on Martha Hope Genevieve. With our boys though we're a bit stuck and it's horrible them not having names. DH likes Barney and Wilfred but I'm not sold. DSs need names so please throw anything at me!

Did you not have any scans when you were pregnant? Or did they manage to miss two babies? Confused

gentlydownthestream · 24/03/2012 22:03

No we knew we were having triplets. It was a surprise as they came at 30 weeks (although we knew we wouldn't get anywhere near full term) and when we found out the sexes they were 75% sure it was two boys and a girl.

congratulations! Martha is a gorgeous name. Love it!

Boys names are harder, aren't they - what about Sam and Joseph (Joe)?

Well I have a Martha. I also have a Patrick and a William if that is any help. Congratulations on your triplets Smile

fridakahlo · 25/03/2012 13:21

Any decisions made ?

gentlydownthestream · 25/03/2012 13:51

DH has just suggested Percy. Is it only great in my pregnancy brain or could it actually be useable?

OP posts:
YouChangeWithTheWeather · 25/03/2012 14:01

Percy doesn't pass my "genitalia name" test.

HolyLentenPromiseBatman · 25/03/2012 14:24

I really like Percy and it's one of the old names that isn't too popular. However, I once suggested it to someone on here who was thinking of calling her child Cecil or Cuthbert or something and she said it was 'too poncy'!

ceeveebee · 25/03/2012 14:44

Congratulations on your triplets, wow and I thought it was hard to pick names for twins!

Barnaby is a fab name and goes very well with Martha.

How about the combination Martha, Barnaby and Eric?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 25/03/2012 18:20

Barnaby, Wilfred and Martha = lovely.

Laurence, Timothy and Martha.

Bartholomew (Bartie), Edward and Martha.

ElephantsAreMadeOfElements · 25/03/2012 18:27

Martha, Felix and Jasper

gentlydownthestream · 25/03/2012 18:29

So you don't think people would raise an eyebrow over Percy? The more I say it the more I love it, as does DH. I'm just not sure if we'd be setting him up for a lifetime of misery with it as a name. In my heart it's perfect, in my head I'm seeing a lifetime of bullying and ridicule Confused
