Monroe (girl) and Moroccan Scott (boy)

Monroe's not bad, but poor boy having two nationalities for a name! Hmm

I mean MCs and NCs

Northernlurker · 07/05/2011 14:23

I don't mind Harlow. Monroe would have been quite nice for a boy but it's not great for a girl. Moroccan is obviously a barking mad choice.

BornAgainDomesticGoddess · 07/05/2011 15:55

Better than Jayden and Ellie-May, I guess.

chillistars · 07/05/2011 16:01

I suppose it could have been worse, she could have called him Brazilian.....

Glittertwins · 07/05/2011 18:02

I liked the twitter post who said that they were impressed with that fact they had the word 'moron' in each name. Poor children, what's wrong with Scott and Marilyn if she idolised MM that much...

pawsnclaws · 07/05/2011 18:07

I'm just surprised they weren't called Mariah and Nick.

triskaidekaphile · 07/05/2011 21:21

Agree with vintageteacups and others that having an adjective for a name is especially shit. Morocco would have been slightly better.

storminateacup10 · 07/05/2011 22:15

thesecondcoming- ZUMA??!! FFS!!! I could swear that is a make of fruit - oranges or something, usually written on the side of the crates?
Moroccan? Well, at least it ain't Afghan- grateful for small mercies and all that...

caramelwaffle · 07/05/2011 22:44

pawsnclaws - absolutely.

A1980 · 08/05/2011 01:51

Maybe it'll start a new trend. How about neighbouring countries.

Algerian
Tunisian
Libyan

All great names along with Moroccan Grin

jellybeans · 08/05/2011 12:31

They're fecking awful. Poor kids.

nulgirl · 08/05/2011 12:36

Saw an article where apparently her husband has said that they already call them by the nicknames "roc and roe". Poor children.

Zuma is the name of a Japanese restaurant in London. Haven't researched what the word means in Japanese. Presumably it was a venue Stefani and Rossdale were familiar with. Heston Blumenthal has said (in interviews) that he is indeed named after the Heston service station on the M25!!
