Very weird to have an Adjective as a name.

I can see having Rocco as a shortening or even Morocco as a name or Moroc but Moroccan is odd.

Stupid names if you ask me. Yeah, I may be bold, but I'm just saying what the kids will say in playground around these poor children......then again, they will be growing up alongside other celeb babies in celeb world so they'll live with their names quite happily I suppose....as long as they don't grow up to have real jobs in the real world.....Dr Moroccan Cannon? Yeah Right!

Oh Gawd. What is it with celebrity baby names? Can someone not tell them : For god's sake, you're not being 'original' or 'quirky' any more, everyone expects you to name your child something utterly stupid, why not confound expectation and name them John and Mary or something???

I don't think MC and NC can understand that it would at least have made more sense linguistically to call him Morocco. I wish one of their vast entourage had had the nous to speak up. WON'T SOMEBODY PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN?

Yes, what's wrong with just Scott Cannon, which go together really well. As for Monroe - that's just cruel....Monroe Cannon - like some sort of weapon used in World War One. I have posted about "wacky" names before, so my opinion isn't exactly fresh. Hope the children will have guts to change them by deed poll as soon as they are old enough. They sound like joke names picked when parents are drunk or stoned.

Harlow is a bit close to ,erm, Harlow for my liking. I was born there. It's shite.

Dire names, both of them. No idea why surnames or adjectives are cool now. And the Cannon surname makes it even worse! What is the matter with some people!

I have some friends, very nice sensible wealthy professionals about to name their ds 'Pace'. WTF! And the family isn't exactly known for being slim or active. Asking for a nickname of 'not much' or 'snail's' at school IMHO.

Monroe would be passable for a boy b ut a bit daft for a girl. Still, at least it is a name. Moroccan is just stupid. It's cannabis.

just think the names are so cruel and even the reasoning behind only giving he little girl one name ie mummy's only got one name so you can only have one. it just screams narcissistic mother , my daughter will not do better than me etc.

surely it's really important for twins to be treated the similarly from birth and to give them a different number of names each seems like a recipe for sibling rivalry.

Everyone has their own reasons for names. DN has a daughter Jasmin because the mum is Joann without an "E" and grandmother is Ann without an
"E". Hence Jasmin without an "E"

It's all very meaningful to the people involved and really, that's all that matters.

Thing that made me a bit was that in a mariah interview a few months ago she said they had picked out names ready and they were 'normal' names as apparently mariah hated having an unusual name when she was growing up and didn't want her children to feel this so picked safe, boring type names for her DC so they blended in more. I'm not sure what world she lives in where monroe and moroccan are normal run of the mill names...

yeah emmie moroccan is named after the top floor of ther appartment is called the moroccan room and it's where her DH proposed to her (closet mariah fan . Maybe it's secretly that they were conceived in the moroccan room and she's naming them a la brooklyn beckham
