dont like the new layout.. its too wierd and I just don't like it..

whizzz- not sure about the finger knitting thing.. I think I would probably end up in a horrible tangle.. but the scarf looks lovely.. sorry not replied for ages..

Finger knitting, have always wanted to try and teach dd that, I have however taught her how to knit, despite her being a leftie and me a rightie. Feel quite chuffed about that.

ranting- I'm a lefty and learned (taught myself) to knit right-ily .. or something... though addmittedly I'm not the greatest of knitters... can only go down to the US embassy in G. Square.

I have a big to do list today but its cold and I really don't want to do it!

Ihave actually got some crafting done... made two pendants and a bracelet.. nothing fancy just playing about with black and red again (thats all I have left at the moment bead wise) will blog pics later when I have taken some.

now I just need to sew something and I will have done my to do list for today.. save cleaning house and making tea..

VV, the postie brought me a package today. Thank you, they're beautiful, my only complaint is they're so beautifully presented it's going to hurt when I remove the button I've picked.

Dd has her beady eye on the black art deco style one, she is most taken with that, she's not getting it!!

Hi, can I join you all? I am mainly a knitter, but also do crochet, sewing, patchwork, embroidery and quilting. I'd love to try beading, felting and rugmaking as well - I'm a bit addicted to making things!

I have a blog here and am starting to make things to sell on Folksy.

Does anyone know where I could get little tags made up to sew inside the things I make? I'm looking for something similar to a name tape, but with a bit more style lol!

Thanks! I've had a really fun night, made a felted bag from a scarf and an old necklace, and cut out lots of patchwork squares to make a tote bag. I'm really enjoying reading crafty blogs as well, although that can be more addictive than MN!

I still don't like this new version of mumsnet.. i just can't get the hang of it...

TTT- hello and welcoem to the chat thread.. on occasion it does still get busyish on here.. most of us are on crafteroo ... lovely blog and crafts.. I don't know about labels.. but I can have a look around.. I may have seen somone mention a good place for them not too long ago..

ttt - i've used a company called jj cash for labels a few times in the past, their prices have gone up though since then. google 'woven name tapes' and you should get some uk based companies come up.

Hi there, long time no chat! MN crafters have all done a runner! LOL. I am trying to join you over on Crafteroo...but there isn't much activity on the papercrafting front!

I have been busy playing with my new pens! LOL...I was even asked to colour in the new download collection..thud...panic....but had lots of fun doing it!
