on names when i was maximummummy people often thought it was max's mummy as it was a hard word to read quickly due to to many M's.
i like vintageviolet better.

my weird doll is really taking shape now but as always with me i've made lots of mistakes due to not thinking things through but i really think i'll make another after this as i've identified my mistakes!!! porr juicyfig gets the weird prototype!!!!

I'm hardened to it now!! I was under some misguided idea of being nice and blending in. Nowadays I'm quite happy to tell someone to &^ off if they are out of order (safe in the knowledge I can slink back to the crafters ).
I always used to be quite tough, then lost it a bit after having the girls. My old confidence has returned over the last few months and so I thought Misty should return too. Its interesting how many of you have done the same though.
Meri - Yours and DH's story sounds quite similar to me and DH (although not transatlantic still long distance) I was an X-files fan too for the first 3 series' then it got a bit silly for me I'm afraid. So you are not a geek (unless I am too - although I know full well I am ).
We're off shopping for shoes for the girlies today, then back for FA Cup Final (for DH) so the bargain is he watches it and the girls at the same time and I'll take myself off upstairs and do some crafting. Hopefully will have something to show for myself later . . . .

well me & dh are reaaaaallllly boring, we've been together since we were at school, 20 years ago!

re the swap, there are people signed up from all over, usa, uk, sweden, new zealand, singapore!, i love that, i know it costs more for postage, but it give a real mix of materials and ideas to the whole swap

vintage, i have something i need to email you about later, i just looked at your blog and it gave me an idea

LK- DH and I have been together for just a tidge over 10 years.. married 7 eek... and yes I'm sure we will go see the new x-files movie... I'm moe excited about seein g the new Indiana Jones right now to be honest..that was one of my fav series of movies when I was younger.. Indy was my hero..I did consider beign an archeologiest or anthropologist for a while. and no thats not entirely the reason DS has the name he has its also the name of the town my parents live in the postal catchment for and the only name DH and I agreed on.

oh and I'm up for a ikea outing sometime soon, need a few things for the house as we may be putting it up on the market soon.. will push for 3 bedrooms so there will be an office for DH to edit weddings in a place to craft that isn't hidden or in a heap in the corner of the living room.

OK vintage

highlight the code, then right click which will bring up a little menu, click on copy, then go to the box the code needs to go into, right click again and go to paste.
It will put the code in for you.

Ranting you won't see this hairdo on any blog - last night I came to the conclusion that I look like a cross between a mullet toting footballer from the 70s and one of the gallagher brothers...cute - NOT! although you'll see it wednesday week if you come to iKnit (oooh, now how could you not be really tempted )

LK yes - we managed it and had great fun - we went to the Architecture and Fashion exhibition in the new embankment galleries at Somerset House. GM is much more fashionable than me so I could wander about basking in her reflected glory. Cheers GM GM brought me the astronoughty for DD1's bday in June - it's totally fab. She brought a gorgeous bag for DD1 too and a lovely tea inspired linen coaster for me to rest my vintage tea cups on. MMMMMMmmm. Will blog soon.

LK if you fancy an odd number for your swap count me in - if 'twould be too awkward count me out - I know I am really late - meant to sign up but totally forgot

ok, off to get ready for my dinner engagement now...might not wear my heels, might go scruffy like, might be a bit cold to have my tootsies out

jg, not to late to count you in, have had a couple of late takers today, and won't be doing the draw for partners until later, or even tomorrow, gardening is coming first again this weekend, dh is very muddy out there building the framework for the new deck.!

all i need is an email from you with,

  1. name
  2. email address
  3. postal address
  4. website/blog details (if you have one)
  5. favorite colours
  6. favorite fabrics

all that will be forwarded on to your swap partner, if i have an even number, i'll just make 2 to fill the gap

Lk - as you're our Flickr expert !! - can you help me?

I set up an account and put a "set" on there and uploaded all the MNCrafters Easter Swap pics into it.

I've now uploaded some of my own pics onto the main part of my Flickr but how (or can I) keep the Easter ones JUST in their set - iykwim!!
