Anyone fancy a card challenge?

I am in chaos here with the extension going on . I have moved my stash to it's new home but it is in complete turmoil!!!!
I have been trying to keep afloat in the school hols but my crafting has taken a nose dive.
I am attempt to "be prepared" does anyone fancy joining me in a weekly challenge for Xmas cards and maybe even a few pressies?

Gingermonkey - I will let you into a secret..don't tell...I wore the sead bead links bracelet to school & one of the links broke as I assume one of the knots gave way....oops - good job I try & test drive all creations before making for others !

Ok, here goes ...

This week I aim to make :

2 Dogs
1 Horse
1 New design - not sure what yet

I'll do my best but I'm having the ligaments injected in my back again tomorrow. Not only is it bloody painful but it takes me about a week to recover.

Last time I felt like I'd been trampled by a herd of very fat cows wearing doc martins so I'm not looking forward to it much.

Yes, I agree totally that the talent on here is amazing. Just goes to show what you can achieve even if you haven't got any formal training.

I think MN should look into an Etsy type website as there is such a host of gorgeous stuff on here.
I know Loopyredangel is in the process of setting up something similar too.

Right - one of my challenges this week is to do a repair of a friends necklace

I also need to motivate myself into making a different style of lariat - I have loads of ideas...just need to transform into actual necklaces !

I did notice that enviro friendly packaging - and it was recycled when it was sent to you too....our carbon footprints are practically neutral now

dior - if you go to my blog and send me an email so i can get your address, i'll put some goodies in the post (free!), its stuff i got for free through work but am not using so no problem to give a bit away.

whizzz - yes, would be very interested in a swap, i don't have the cat anymore as its gone off to visit some magazine editors but will add something for you to my 'to do' list and keep you informed

, I've got it all out (so I could have a little stroke!) and it's all there, and the instructions look very easy (except the hair....be prepared for me to pester you for help, wool scares me in general, I have a mental block where it is concerned!!!! ). I wish I could start her, bloody christmas orders from bloody friends!!!! I got asked by sis in law today for a load of horses, and she wants me to make a huge one, pillow sized, for my nephew (birthday in 2 weeks). Poor Katy is going to have to wait, I might do her on new year's eve, last year I was cross stitching a Subversise Cross Stitch pattern as the bells chimed! (Yep, 32 going on 72..DD was up later than us at a party next door!)

V nice AQ, which is the one you think is a bit naff? I thought they were all really lovely!
I have been behaving myself this week and doing as I said I would and have made some christmas decorations and a couple of other bits. I actually got cramp in my hand last night from sewing for too long (if I could just become friendly with the sewing machine my life would be so much easier!!!)
