Anyone fancy a card challenge?

I am in chaos here with the extension going on . I have moved my stash to it's new home but it is in complete turmoil!!!!
I have been trying to keep afloat in the school hols but my crafting has taken a nose dive.
I am attempt to "be prepared" does anyone fancy joining me in a weekly challenge for Xmas cards and maybe even a few pressies?

i will add my aims

This week we have:

Dingle
1 retirement card
2 birthday cards
3 Thank you cards for the Down Syndrome Group
knit some of the 4 teddies to knit!!
ONE Xmas card (if I am really lucky)

Whizzz
some seed beading from new book

Dior
X-stitch wreath Xmas card

Gingermonkey
Finish 4 horses
2 cats
perhaps a few Xmas decs too!

birthday card for my mum
birthday card for my aunty

Tillyboo - its really just a list of things we want to get done that week. It makes me actually do something with my beads other than just looking at them !!
Just post what you think you should do craft-wise before Tuesday, then you can post a pic or tell us what you've done

oooh, can i join the list too please, i could do with a kick up the arse some encouragement atm

being realistic, if the cut off each week is tuesday, this week, if i can get the bag (dh ripped his trousers so i've cut off both legs and have made 2 bags out of them) i'm working on finished, i will be happy then i start wednesday with a clear deck. wednesday is my day without dc's.

OK, let me see ...

By the end of Tuesday I will try and aim to have another dog or horse finished.

I'll be pushing it but will do my best.

LK, mine too! I love wednesdays!!!! I finished 2 cats and a horse today Mind you, I was up half the night doing it, ha ha ha!!!!!

i like this challenge ---- the birthday aren't for another 5 days so this is really well organised for me!

i ought to add that htey are not 100% my own designs...but from challenges/ideas on another forum.

Oooo....sorry been busy trying to decide of bathroom tiles and having walls knocked down..and generally living in chaos!!! Will catch up a bit and have a look at all your fabby work!!

It has been a hard week this week but so far I have manged to:
make 2 birthday cards and have knitted 6 teddy legs! The retirement card was left half done yesterday afternoon when hubby decided to chisel off the old bathroom tiles

Whizzz, that beady bead tassel looks amazing, it looks dead complicated though. Was it hard to make? lucykate - you know that japanese owl fabric? You can get it on ebay, it comes in 3 or 4 colours too. Just search for japanese owl fabric in fqs and you'll find it

here you go LK, owls . It comes in lemon, blue and pink.

Planning for christmas, LK! God I'm organised (so far...it'll all go wrong mearer the time!) The fabric is really nice too, I used it for a few bits.

LOL...think I need some of them Lucykate!! I am pulling my hair out here, the house is a wreck-hubby is chiselling again, the builders want to knock down my kitchen wall tomorrow to move the doorway over. Next weekend we have to clear the kitchen and dinning room as much as we can for the ajoining wall to be knocked down too! All I want is to retreat into my little craft room and bury my head in papers...but I can't!

With all that aside, I have just put another 2 creations on my blog. The retirement card and an Xmas card. I still have the teddies to knit, which I can do of an evening and I think I might order the "thank you" cuttlebug embossing folder to use on the all the DS Thank you cards I make as we fundraise- I need a quick and simple design I can use over and over again!

oh i sympathise over the building work dingle, last year we spent 5 months with no kitchen, no cooker, just a bbq and microwave for cooking while it was being re-wired, re-plastered, back door moved etc etc, kitchen was finally fitted 3 weeks before christmas and has been in the same bare plaster, unfinished state ever since.

so, who out of the mn a&c lot has a blog, so far i know of
