Lovely cards Dior, but yes,the cat one is something special...you know when you want to see it in the "flesh!"

I am still to make my 5th card and it is absolute mayhem here! They took our bath out yesterday and are temorarily re-fitting in the "new bathroom" today...when I say bathroom, it is a shell of a room, no ceiling, no plaster board or plaster, a boarded up opening for a window, no electrics , just the frame of a stud wall in the middle of ..well...nothingness!! LOL...gonna be fun bathing the kiddies tonight! I have been going through things all morning and have electricians and plumbers here, plasterer and carpenter are due later too...and this afternoon I have a meeting at the school re. DD's support and therapies!!
Hopefully things will calm down for an hour or so but I cannot get into my craft room as the plumbers have the floorboards up in the hall!!! Might sit out in the conservatory for a while a do some knitting but it's NOT going to get my challenge done is it!

Is everyone set to make their new target for the coming week?

But did you enjoy doing it 'Frau?

Dingle · 13/09/2007 10:35

Whatever has been achieved...or not...is past now. I hope some of you want to join me in this weeks challenge too!

Just name your aims!!!

Me...er well, seeing as I failed my target last week by only making 4 Xmas cards and life on the homefront looks no calmer this week, in fact probably worseI had better choose my aim carefully.

This week I need to make:

1 retirement card
2 birthday cards
3 Thank you cards for the Down Syndrome Group
and I have 4 teddies to knit!!

So if I do that and make ONE Xmas card I will be a happy crafty bunny!

I have bought a new seed beading book which arrived today & I aim to make something decent from it - I am going to have a mooch through it now [

(currently I keep half-mkaing something & then taking it to bits)

blimey dingle. I think you get a week off from xmas cards with that lot!!!!

This week (by tuesday) I aim to have finished the 4 horses I have cut out this morning ready to sew plus I have to do 2 cats today. And those christmas decorations that are sitting half finished...maybe I'll finish off a couple of them.

This is a great idea Dingle as it makes me get my stuff out instead of just looking at it !

Ooh, Ooh .... can I join in please ?

I've been on holiday and didn't have access to the internet so I've been starved on MN for a week or so.

I've skimmed through this thread as I've got so much washing & sorting to get through so daren't spend too much time on here.

I make cards from my own photography but my dog and horse 'making' has taken over rather.

Would some kind soul please fill me in on what I have to do ?

I have Tuesday's and Thursday free'ish as dd is at Pre-school so my intention is to keep these day's as my making days - unless the carpet gets too crunchy, then I'll have to get the hoover out.

For those of you who haven't seen my stuff before (Hi Gingermonkey) have a look in my profile.
