Next week I am on holiday in America, so many people have told me that scrapbooking in America is cheaper! If so where is the best shop/stores to go to.

Thanks

I@ve only just started scrapbooking. Thanks to a MN challenge oddly enough I don't go in for all the fluffy sentiment stuff though, not my style. I use gel pens too.

Happily working my way through an A-Z of 2006 (thanks to 'Frau) ATM

I too have only recently started (hence why I am so excited about shopping in America, to get a bit more stash!!)

I decided to do a scrapbook for DD on her 13th Birthday in May and the bug caught me.

Well, I have finally arrived in sunny LA. Had a very busy day at the Universal Studios, but on the way home managed to pop into Target for 5mins and managed to find some Sissix alphabet for $50(reduced by over half price). I couldnt believe my luck!. Tomorrow we are having more of a relax day so hopefully more time to shop. Off to Las Vegas in the afternoon.

I have found 2 Joanns and bought some things, cant believe the difference in price. I am still hoping to go back to another Target. Michaels didnt have anything in the sale, so I didnt stop there too long.

I cant find any Dollar Trees! Is the 99cent shop the same thing?

pinkbubble · 27/08/2007 04:55

I have just looked on the Dollar Tree web page and found 5 stores near to where we be staying from tomorrow, so I can safely guess that the 99 cent shop is not the same thing. I still cant get over the price of things, I have bought 2 albums, they worked out to be about £3 each, only a couple of wks ago I bought 2 for £15 each!

I am also surprised at the amount of halloween things the shops have. I did wonder if your halloween date was different to ourS
