A knitting/crochet progress thread

Hi all,
For a few weeks I've been knitting a blanket for my DP and I'd love to see what other people are knitting/crocheting at the moment!

Here's the latest picture of my blanket

Amazing work Callme. I wouldn't know what to do next, Woolly Hugs is always a possibility as they are always on the look out for blankets and teddies and other things.

I went to a new (to me) knitting/ crochet group tonight. They were really friendly and it was lovely to spend time with others crafters. They sounded as if they really liked my work, rather than DHs well trained "yes, that's lovely, dear" Either that, or they are better liars!

mook this is my first attempt at a Cardigan so I've no idea how it will turn out. but I've manage a hat and mittens so I am slowly moving on from scarves

Finished purse/clutch bag! Gave to my friend for her birthday and she seemed really pleased!

So would I be. It looks lovely

I'm a knitter and a crocheted. Have been doing both a few years now. My most recent finished item is this flamingo I made for my niece's first birthday at the weekend.

Attic 24 Cosy Stripe blanket...a work in progress.
First and second attempt at a Windowpane scarf....someone mentioned it on here. Now onto my third one.

I'm on the cosy stripe too (single) as a break from the sodding coastal ripple which I decided to make king size. It has stolen my will to crochet, so had to put it to one side. It is taking forever! So, happy times with the cosy and some beautiful colours.

I also have my eye on the Frida CAL which is stunning.

Arcadia that blanket came out lovely I am currently working on a six by six baby blanket I've made 30 squares so far and want to keep the border simple

I finished this one, it's knitted with a crochet border and showed it to my soon to be daughter in law (it's for my first grandchild due soon). She said that's nice and gave it back to me but I thought it was nice

I spent Saturday at a crochet for beginners workshop and made these. I'm loving it. Off to buy yarn and look for patterns.

Tutu I think it was a stitch idea from Pinterest and same for the border I'd like to make another one and can't find it now .
Patterkiller I go to a crochet group it's made a huge difference as a group we are making Christmas wreaths

I finally finished a wrap I was making.

I have yet to decide what I'm going to do with it as I'm not sure when I would ever use it!

Lightningirll, the blanket is lovely - did she maybe think you were just showing her rather than giving it as a gift?

I just finished making a bunch of squares for Woolly Hugswhich I've forgotten to take pics of, so looking forward to seeing theirsand I'm a bit crocheted out. Thinking of trying some embroidery to fill my crafty void...

Here's my rainbow ripple blanket - in progress. It's too hot to crochet atm so it's put away until cooler autumn days arrive

I love the colours Zing! Is that Stylecraft Special DK?

I'm using chunky wool and 10mm hook for this.
Mainly Stylecraft Special but they didn't have all the shades I wanted in the chunky range, so I added some King Cole and Sirdar Hayfield colurs.
40 -42 colours in total, haven't decided on last few colours.
When it's done I'll be happy to share the exact details, if you want.

Here's a twilight photo of the rest of the wool.
3 colours at the bottom are slightly separated - they are the rascals, I'm not sure about the order they should be in!
