Hi all,
For a few weeks I've been knitting a blanket for my DP and I'd love to see what other people are knitting/crocheting at the moment!

Here's the latest picture of my blanket Smile

It will be stunning when it's finished (not that it isn't already stunning but you know what I mean!)

I am making another wrap in a mint green "cotton". I don't know what fibre it actually is as i got a huuuuuge amount of yarn, all on cones, from a charity shop for about £15. It was less than £1 a cone... Blush

HerRoyalFattyness · 15/06/2016 13:40

mookbark fantastic work!
I need to start on something new now I've finished the poncho. I don't know whether to do a blanket or a Cardigan for one of my DC though. And if I do a Cardigan do I make it for DD or DS2? Hmm...decisions decisions! Help me oh wise MNers!
(PS, I've name changed. I was FuckingFattyBitch)

Mookbark · 15/06/2016 18:46

Thanks everyone.
Soup you lucky person, I love forward to seeing the wrap.Royal do you have to limit yourself to one thing at a time? As you can see, I like to have several wipes going at once. It's too difficult to just choose one thing to do. Grin

Mookbark · 15/06/2016 18:47

Wipes = wips

HerRoyalFattyness · 15/06/2016 19:38

I'm terrible for starting something, then forgetting about it and not picking it up again for ages Grin

SoupDragon · 15/06/2016 21:21

One thing at a time??? Shock The horror!

HerRoyalFattyness · 16/06/2016 00:11

As I said, I'm bad enough for forgetting as it is. I don't need to try and remember multiple things! Grin

SoupDragon · 16/06/2016 07:29

At the moment I am doing the minty wrap and a beach bag that I need to buy more rope from Screwfix in order to finish. I also have some Woolly Hug squares I'm meant to be doing but they are still at the planning stages, a Moogly Cal blanket from 2015 and a ripple blanket from when I started crochet that I am very very bored with and only do when I have nothing else.

I also have plans lined up for the next eleventy billion and one projects but still need to find a holiday project for the summer.

HerRoyalFattyness · 16/06/2016 07:38

How do you remember all that?! That would baffle my head.

SoupDragon · 16/06/2016 08:01

They only need to be in my head one at a time. Other than that, I guess they are in my mental filing cabinet under Crochet :)

Most essential stuff is filed under I for "I'm sure I'm meant to be doing something..."

Mookbark · 16/06/2016 08:57

Soup Grin
HerRoyal I didn't mention the scarf I'm half way through and the blanket that I've finished crocheting but need to join together. You can never have too many WIPs. Mine are all in a corner of taking over the dining room and I'l do the one I'm most interested in at the time.

SoupDragon · 16/06/2016 08:59

Oh... I've just remembered an Angel Hug that's about 1/3 done.

Mookbark · 16/06/2016 09:34

Soup I think you need to do more projects Grin

HerRoyalFattyness · 16/06/2016 09:48

I'm easily confused! I started making a Cardigan for DS2 last night. Hopefully I will finish it before he grows into the next size! Grin

justkeeponsmiling · 17/06/2016 14:31

This is a blanket I have crocheted for my mew baby nephew. I have just finished and I am ridiculously proud! I have taught myself to crochet and it has been a labour of love from start to finish. Don't think I can part with it just yet, I think I'll have to keep hold of it for a few more days so I can get it out and look at it every now and again Grin

justkeeponsmiling · 17/06/2016 14:33

So excited I forgot pictures Blush

Just that's beautiful, you deserve to feel very proud of that. I think it's too good for a baby, you better keep it! Grin

justkeeponsmiling · 17/06/2016 14:58

Thanks Mook ! I'm tempted!!
I adore your Mandala blanket, it will be stunning when it's finished. I'm considering something like that as my next project. But would have to have another simple project alongside it I think, just for when I veg out in front of the telly. The pattern looks very complicated!

Dutchoma · 17/06/2016 15:25

Justkeepsmiling that is lovely. If that is your first project you will outshine us all next year.

CharCharGabor · 17/06/2016 15:45

Just I am in love with your blanket! So nicely done, I want one Smile I've taken a bit of a break from crafting (ill children and shattered) but am going to bring the blanket out again tonight to keep me occupied during an Orange Is The New Black marathon Grin

CharCharGabor · 17/06/2016 15:48

I also have this shawl on the go for when I'm fed up of crocheting, or when I want to read at the same time! It's Waiting For Rain on Ravelry, and has beautiful sections of lace peeping out from the garter stitch. Really nice knit.

Can anyone tell me about the wooly hugs sale?
I've made some things that while beautiful I don't and an unlikely to use, I'm thinking mainly scarfs, and hats, could they be put to any use?
I'm terrible for knitting lovely things, but not in a colour or style that means I reach for it!

Dutchoma · 17/06/2016 16:22

If you send a message to RatherbeonthePiste I'm sure she will tell you all about it.

justkeeponsmiling · 17/06/2016 18:00
