Sizzix Swop.

Just a thought after Christmas shall we have a sizzix die swop???

This is how it would work.

Basically you cut 50 sizzix die cuts that you have and then send them on to me with an SAE.

I will then sort out all the packs and send you die cuts that you dont have.

You would need to email me a list of dies that you have so you dont get duplicates and also a preference of colours that you would like.

I will send out emails to all that are taking part and give a list of colours, dies etc that people are short of.

This will take ages to sort out so bear with me!!!

Can all those who want to take part sign up by 5th Jan (if we get 10 names before this date then the swop will start earlier)

If anyone wants to take part in this swop, who does not have a sizzix then they are more than welcome, but they would need to send 10 packs of assorted fibres....each pack containing 4, three meter lengths of funky fibres (buy four assorted balls of wool and cut it into 10x 3 metre lengths, so each of the 10 bags would then contain 12 meteres of fibre)Does that make sense????

This swop would be open to the first 10 that join up. You will all recieve back a parcel which will contain an assortment of 50 die cuts and a pack of funky fibres.

All dies/fibres will need to be cut and posted by 20th Jan for the completion of the swop by 27th Jan.

ALPHABETS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS SWOP.

jm, how do we decide which dies to cut? if everyone sent in duplicates by chance we will have duplicates back. or did i miss something? (highly possible knowing me)

champs- i think if i've undrstood that jm will decide who needs what and will ask us specifically to cut certain dies. it's a massive job for her but if i've understood properly what w do is wait for an email telling us what to do. we then post them to jm with a sae and she sorts out all the dies and posts what we haven't got back to us. i think

Post out by 20th Jan....MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE ENOUGH STAMPS TO COVER RETURN POSTAGE and an address label would be useful!!

I will be emailing a list off all dies available over the next day or so.
Please email me back with a list of any you especially want.
You should end up with die cuts of dies that you do not have
Everyone will be cutting dies that others do not have, but Ive worked it out that you should be cutting no more than 4 dies each....as the group has grwon this means there will approx 60/70 die cuts in each bag!!!!

how would you like us to tell you which we would prefer? so far i have just added YES next to the ones that catch my eye, i am now going to think about colours. do you want the whole list back or justa list of what we fancy?

You can choose up to 60 dies each....they can be multiples of the same die or singular....just remember though, you will all be doing the cutting

JM can I just check the list as the dies I have are not on it- did you send different lists to everyone?

I bought some dogs, dishes & bone ones off of ebay.So stoopid I though it was an actual die. v.dissapointed when they came in rubbish colours, you didn't send them di you ding?

I had 17 on my list that I sent back and I thought that looked a lot ! - should have added some more !!
Basically I'm happy to have anything I haven't got- I'll even try a dog & bone Dingle

I may be wrong, but I thought we were supposed to send the coloured paper/card our selves?

No UCM...people cut from their own cardstock...thats why i have asked if you have any preference to colour you email me

I possibly have ever card colour/paper colour there is so it doesn't worry me. But what if I want sky blue dinosaurs (haha) and the recipient doesn't have sky blue. I am thinking this would be easier!
