Sizzix Swop.

Just a thought after Christmas shall we have a sizzix die swop???

This is how it would work.

Basically you cut 50 sizzix die cuts that you have and then send them on to me with an SAE.

I will then sort out all the packs and send you die cuts that you dont have.

You would need to email me a list of dies that you have so you dont get duplicates and also a preference of colours that you would like.

I will send out emails to all that are taking part and give a list of colours, dies etc that people are short of.

This will take ages to sort out so bear with me!!!

Can all those who want to take part sign up by 5th Jan (if we get 10 names before this date then the swop will start earlier)

If anyone wants to take part in this swop, who does not have a sizzix then they are more than welcome, but they would need to send 10 packs of assorted fibres....each pack containing 4, three meter lengths of funky fibres (buy four assorted balls of wool and cut it into 10x 3 metre lengths, so each of the 10 bags would then contain 12 meteres of fibre)Does that make sense????

This swop would be open to the first 10 that join up. You will all recieve back a parcel which will contain an assortment of 50 die cuts and a pack of funky fibres.

All dies/fibres will need to be cut and posted by 20th Jan for the completion of the swop by 27th Jan.

ALPHABETS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS SWOP.

So anyone up for it???

There are loads of different dies being listed so Im sure we will end up with a really good mix

Right, head much better today. Raring to go in fact. Can I join. Only thing is I don't have any dies yet as I have to order em. I am going to try to order stuff that no one else has for now. So for me, it's dependent on whether they arrive by then.

UCM, just athought but why dont you take part by doing the fibre swop. You will then get back a bag full of 50 assorted die cuts and will know which ones you would want to use again....might help with you deciding which dies to buy IYKWIM????

Just to clarify - do I just cut 50 assorted shapes in various paper / card?
Or is it best to wait to see what people have (if a lot of us already have 1 die for example, not many would want more of it ?)

As you have emailed me your lists of dies I have worked out who has what and I am trying to plan it so you should end up with die cuts of dies that you do not have.
If this mad plan works it should mean that you will be given a list of 2/3 dies to cut and post out....fingers crossed the plan isnt so mad and will work???

I will email a full list of all dies available and if there are any on that list that you especially want, then email me. You can also email me with a list of any colour preferance that you have and I'll try my best to make sure you get them.

You do not have to own a sizzix to join in....you can send fibres instead.
Its a good way for non sizzix owners to get their hands on some fabby die cuts....just add your name to the thread and you're in

Have you room for another? This sounds like a great idea to try out some new dies. I've got about 15 but they are mostly bodies and clothes or christmas.

I cut out about 50 tiny little QK trucks yesterday, sat there watching a film last night and glued them together so I have a supply ready made. Plan to do that again today, don't know what to cut out next though!
