to leave my 4 month old baby in the car with some formula while I dash into Macdonalds for her breakfast before dropping her off at the Nursery?

Did you leave the window open a bit? Can get really hot very quickly at this time of year. Other than that I don't see a problem.

Haven't you got a MCd drive in you could go to? Yopu would not even have to leave the car?

sorky · 07/07/2010 13:46

I don't know, are you leaving your daughter at Nursery from 6am to 6pm with 16 year old poorly trained workers who will ignore her?

LimaCharlie · 07/07/2010 13:47

YABU KFC much nicer

biddysmama · 07/07/2010 13:47

as long as you didnt her buy the " sausage and pancakes" thing... aka sponge and burger...

DuelingFanjo · 07/07/2010 13:48

I am worried about using the drive through because once someone told me about this time they saw a car smash right into the back of another car at the drive through.

I wouldn't do it. What if someone broke into the car while you were inside? An unlikely but not impossible scenario. I know of a family whose 2 year old was asleep in the car, so she was left in her car asleep in the drive, and the car had a freak electrical fault and burst into flames, and the mum couldn't get her daughter out. Again, totally unlikely but has stopped me from leaving my dd alone in the car.

Is it that much hassle to take her into McDonalds with you?

Deanna1977 · 07/07/2010 13:48

Make sure you don't forget to get her a fruitshoot as well - much better than formula/breastmilk...

gorionine · 07/07/2010 13:48

Cretaceous · 07/07/2010 13:51

maybe there should be a few purees handy for her too in case the formula isnt quite enough to fill her up....

I heard about a nursery that spontaneously burst into flames once so personally I think you're hideously irresponsible.

kveta · 07/07/2010 13:52

if you add some cereal to her bottle, then you needn't get her any thing from mcDonalds, and can instead get yourself a nice big mac for brekkie.

biddysmama · 07/07/2010 13:53

i heard that formula combusts... and breastmilk is the drink of the devil... best off with condensed milk, watered down of course...
