to leave my 4 month old baby in the car with some formula while I dash into Macdonalds for her breakfast before dropping her off at the Nursery?

well am I?

I would have put a few teaspoons of Medised in her formula, to be honest.

And hope you didn't forget the bbq sauce!

StealthPolarBear · 07/07/2010 15:03

make sure you make up the formula with cold water, wouldnt want to scald your little bubba. Evian is the best brand. Or as someone else mentions, maybe a McD's shake would be healthier - strawberry or banana for fruit.

StealthPolarBear · 07/07/2010 15:03

after all formula's fine for a while but at 4 months she really needs something more, dont you think?

Jamiki · 07/07/2010 15:05

It should be OK as long as said baby is in a PROPER outfit and not babygro pyjamas.

katiestar · 07/07/2010 15:10

If you put whisky in her biottle she will sleep in her cot all day and you will save a lot of money on nursery fees.

ShinyAndNew · 07/07/2010 15:14

Nah, it'll be fine. You're leaving the Rotty in the car with her, right? You don't want no one nicking your stereo system while your'e getting served.

sorky · 07/07/2010 15:15

Don't forget to give her lactulose, to help with constipation from the burger...... though on second thoughts, scrap that, if she's constipated you can leave her in one disposable nappy all day and use the money to buy a mcflurry

AmazingBouncingFerret · 07/07/2010 15:17

Stealth! Everyone knows you shouldnt use cold water to make a bottle of formula up, just use the hot water tap, dont have to bother heating it up then innit!

thatsnotmymonkey · 07/07/2010 15:22

Look as long as you have got your "'lil princess on board" sign up, no one will bother her in the car.

While you are in Maccas can you could get a couple of brekkers to stick in the fridge for the next couple of days so ou don't have to miss Bargain Hunt.

MrsYamada · 07/07/2010 15:54

YABU not to cook from scratch, takes less than 5 mins to make a Pot Noodle.

ShinyAndNew · 07/07/2010 16:00

Yeah but have time to that once a day dun't you? So it's MaccyDs for brekkie, cook from scratch for lunch (usually pot noodle or one of those frozen pies you can stick in the micro) and pizza for tea innit.

You can't be expected to cook every meal from scratch. That's just poncy and wrong

ifancyashandy · 07/07/2010 16:06

And, if you constantly feed her Maccy D's, she'll fill out her (padded) Baby Bikini in all the right places.

porcamiseria · 07/07/2010 16:10

who exactly is being mocked here?

diamondsandtiaras · 07/07/2010 16:12

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 07/07/2010 16:13

Vicki Pollard, per chance?

porcamiseria · 07/07/2010 16:14

ah MN chav bashing (whilst pretending to mock MN middle class mummies)
sweet!

Morloth · 07/07/2010 16:16

I thought OP was mocking AIBU itself, where we all like to get our knickers in a twist over stuff that really doesn't matter.

bumpsoon · 07/07/2010 16:18

i hereby properly invoke godwins law and call porcamiseria a nazi

porcamiseria · 07/07/2010 16:19

can I be a BF one?

Oblomov · 07/07/2010 16:24

Has someone phoned the hospital/macyD's/Nursery/Social Services yet ?

DuelingFanjo · 07/07/2010 16:57

the only thing I am mocking is the repetitiveness of some subjects BTW

all the nursery ones, the kids left in car ones etc.

Just a bit of fun - I hope

sizzlers · 07/07/2010 17:18

@shiny ........ TMI

loopyloops · 07/07/2010 17:19

I've been mocking you. And me. Us.

Morloth · 07/07/2010 17:19

We don't do fun, every comment must be interpreted as a personal attack it is the AIBU LAW.

DuelingFanjo · 07/07/2010 17:20

that's because ALL of mumsnet is populated by bullies. I read it in the Mail so it MUST be true.
