to leave my 4 month old baby in the car with some formula while I dash into Macdonalds for her breakfast before dropping her off at the Nursery?

Well, someone did request a link.

Confuzled · 07/07/2010 17:31

Except I fail at life.

valleyqueen · 07/07/2010 19:13

Don't forget to look for a parent and baby parking space and be sure to have a massive hissy fit if there are none left.

Oh shit not again

coolma · 07/07/2010 19:23

I don;t think the op is really in McDonalds at all, I think she's in burger king with a stuffed dog she's trying to pass off as a baby. I'm going to phone McD's and check.

LesbianMummy1 · 07/07/2010 19:36

DuelingFanjo Can I be your friend was in really grumpy fed up mood wanting to bite everybody's head off and you have just cheered me right up

skyeplusbump · 07/07/2010 19:42

this has left me in tears of laughter
id had a really shite day too
you guys make me
i have nothing witty to say

Rollmops · 07/07/2010 19:57

Utterly, utterly unreasonable! McDee should never be sponsored with ones hard earned cash you see.... two streets down is a perfectly good Burgerking, just dash over and get one of their ...err... burger thingies.

MrsSnaplegs · 07/07/2010 20:15

valleyqueen don't worry if there isn't a mother and child slot just use a disabled one they're all the same and most of them don't really need to use them or a blue badge

foreverastudent · 07/07/2010 20:26

since the mum cant possibly be old enough to hold a driving licence then it is unreasonable for an unlicenced driver to be ferrying a child.

Deanna1977 · 07/07/2010 20:28

Dueling - surely your child is old enough to cycle to MacDonalds..on his/her own.

loopyloops · 07/07/2010 20:28

But why can't the baby drive? Or can they? What about a booster seat?

valleyqueen · 07/07/2010 20:32

Booster seat? Don't need one for such a short journey.

loopyloops · 07/07/2010 20:35

Well my baby has been driving since she was 6 weeks, without a booster seat, because we got her 43 hours of private tuition a week and used traction (don't tell me torture doesn't have its benefits) to make her taller so she could see over the steering wheel.

TheLadyOfTheGreenKirtle · 07/07/2010 20:36

can i just sey, that I think u r all horibel. i know jen and her nephew chhardonay very well and they are 100% real. omg, i cant beleve you lot.

i lurk all the time. wanna buy a pram?

loopyloops · 07/07/2010 20:39

How did you meet Jen, lady? Or have you not met her? Did your brother's girlfriend's dog introduce you over the internet?

TheLadyOfTheGreenKirtle · 07/07/2010 20:42

well, she councilled my guinee pig via email and i spoke to her once.

luvly lady. nice deep voise.

valleyqueen · 07/07/2010 20:42

She met her at toddler group where all the middle class mothers ignored them.

onepieceoflollipop · 07/07/2010 20:42

valleyqueen you are right. In my day no one wore seat belts even and we're all still alive int we?

Also re the disabled gaps, don't worry about it. (especially if your car is wide, don't wanna get it scratched hun do you?)

Also the disabled toilets have loads more room to fit a buggy in.

valleyqueen · 07/07/2010 20:59

onepiece this is very true. My mother used to sed me out all day to with no mobile and not a clue where I was.

I personally feel that the op is being a tad precious by actually taking the child with her and not just leaving it indoors watching cbeebies.

onepieceoflollipop · 07/07/2010 21:03

valleyqueen what a big fuss about McDonalds. It's healthy eating, right, all those carrot stick and milky drinks. I mean, snot like we're suggesting turkey twizzlers or summat like that is it.

CBeebies is obviously v educational. What a fab start for a 4 month old, it will be reading by next year, no prob

lol

poppymouse · 07/07/2010 21:06

She can't go Burgerking cause the cousin of the girl on the counter never invited her DS to her birthday, and she sent her sister a text that day, but that was before this happened, so she didn't know yet, but the cousins DP picked it up, told his ex and now they're not speaking, but if the op doesn't give her a knock on the way to school then her neighbour threatens to call social services.

But if you say anything it's Catholic bashing.

LesbianMummy1 · 07/07/2010 21:06

someone's child was told the other day chicken nuggets were healthier than pasta so therefore it healthy eating too
