how old are yours?

I have some the same age.

toastandmarmiterocks · 18/06/2010 22:01

ha! ha! ha! I reckon I've got some 12 year old ones at the back of the drawer. Desperate to tip all my bras and knickers in the bin and get all new underwear.

Lionstar · 18/06/2010 22:02

Wow, what are they made of - teflon??

vixma · 18/06/2010 22:02

I seem to have the attitude that I fit in the same size as 7 years ago....they stretch well. Abit like trainers...you do not want to throw out because they are good pair. They are digging in a bit, however...thank god for elastic!

Shaz10 · 18/06/2010 22:03

About 7 months old. I threw all mine out and bought some new ones!

cornsilkey · 18/06/2010 22:03

My wedding night knicks etc are. They don't get out much.

RobynLou · 18/06/2010 22:04

my favourite knickers are 10 years old. wear them lots! (and they're not made of teflon )

cornsilkey · 18/06/2010 22:04

my favourite knickers are MASSIVE

whydobirdssuddenlyappear · 18/06/2010 22:04

Mine are roughly the same age. I think the newest pair I have, actually, are the nice ones I bought for my wedding. We've just celebrated our 7th anniversary . I still wear some 20-year-old socks, too...

activate · 18/06/2010 22:04

teflon nicks - lol

standard M&S briefs - yes they convince me I am still a size 12 (god bless elastic)

You must have bought some good knickers in 12 years ago!

DanJARMouse · 18/06/2010 22:05

Only 6mnths old here..... i binned the lot and restocked! None of them are as comfortable as my post-pregnancy granny-pants though.... I do miss them!

StealthPolarBear · 18/06/2010 22:06

mine would be but I am no longer the same size
I am still wearing the "post birth cheapies" I bought from tesco - I think they were 5 for £1.50 and the thinking was they were so cheap I would throw them out after wearing.
Of course, why would I throw out a perfectly good pair of knieckers? Lets forget the fact the cotton is so thin it's practically see through, and my fingers go through the seams when I pull them up
classy, aren't I?

whydobirdssuddenlyappear · 18/06/2010 22:08

neither am I. spb, neither am I. Wash 'em hot enough, they do sag a tad, I find...

oh no, I can't even force them on.If I cut the crotch out I could maybe wear them as a garter

whittywan · 18/06/2010 22:13

I have some that are 10years old and since I only moved to this country 2 years ago it means that I bougt 8 year old knickers in by very limited baggage allowance - very dodgy

LetThereBeRock · 18/06/2010 22:15

3 months.

What sort of knickers last 12 years? Are they made from Kevlar?

whydobirdssuddenlyappear · 18/06/2010 22:16

I have literally just spat wine on my computer. [frantic computer-licking emoticon]

whydobirdssuddenlyappear · 18/06/2010 22:17

LTBR, M&S ones.

whydobirdssuddenlyappear · 18/06/2010 22:18

although, saying that, some of mine are so old that they're of totally unknown provenance, as I can't read the labels any more...

bibbitybobbityhat · 18/06/2010 22:20

Roffle.

My friend bought some standard issue big white pants from Tesco a few years ago. Size 12. When she actually got them out of the packet she was so at the humungous size of 'em, she decided to donate them to her very much larger friend. Ie. me. Who had just given birth to ds.

DS is nearly 7, the Tesco undercrackers are still going strong (they are GIGANTIC tho', more like a size 18 than a 12) and I will be sad when they finally have to go to the recycling bank ...

LetThereBeRock · 18/06/2010 22:20

Even so. 12 years? Are you sure you didn't accidentally purchase chastity belts?

whittywan · 18/06/2010 22:22

I find it quite pleasant to reminisce about my twenties when stumbling across a ancient pair...

whydobirdssuddenlyappear · 18/06/2010 22:22

I suppose it's a possibility
Although if I did, I bloody well want my money back...
