Hi all I logged into this site last year to discuss my son, (who now is settled with my first darling grandchild, she is lovely). Then came back bout my "father" but cannot get people to understand what is going on. I watch u all bitching about stupid stuff and would love to say " ugh hello there is other things going on in the world than MY CHILD IS NOT TALKING TO ANOTHER CHILD AND I WANT TO BEAT HER MOTHER. Get a grip people. I dont give a shit if your child hates billy across the road and he has not been invited to the party , get over it , I dont give a flying fish if your nannie does not live up to your standards, do it yourself for gods sake, what I do do give a shit about is how fucking malicious you lot are and how we "newbies" dare not post again for advice

I'm a newbie and I have so far surmised the following:

If I've got a question I use the search function first, and it almost always seems someone has asked the same question before

Topics is a mix of chat and meaty issues, so it means lots of people can take what they inidividually want from MN -I find this really cool!

AIBU = open season. If you really want to know if you're being unreasonable but only want nice answers ask your female relatives or friends. If you want honesty and are feeling brave post here!

Also, a lot of emphasis can get lost in text. Take things with a pinch of salt, clarify what you mean and ask to clarify what other people mean if you're finding it offensive/hurtful.

I have just read the entire thread and agree with most that your OP gave the impression of complete hate for all MNers.

I too thought why post if you think we're all bitches and don't give a fuck about what you have to say?

Then I read on. I think you are very honest for admitting you totally went off the deep end. And for opening up about what is really upsetting you.

Again, as others have said AIBU is NOT the place for subjects and experiences like yours.

You'll just get shredded if you come onto here all guns blazing in an OP.
