Hi all I logged into this site last year to discuss my son, (who now is settled with my first darling grandchild, she is lovely). Then came back bout my "father" but cannot get people to understand what is going on. I watch u all bitching about stupid stuff and would love to say " ugh hello there is other things going on in the world than MY CHILD IS NOT TALKING TO ANOTHER CHILD AND I WANT TO BEAT HER MOTHER. Get a grip people. I dont give a shit if your child hates billy across the road and he has not been invited to the party , get over it , I dont give a flying fish if your nannie does not live up to your standards, do it yourself for gods sake, what I do do give a shit about is how fucking malicious you lot are and how we "newbies" dare not post again for advice

OP posts:
mandyj9999 · 12/05/2010 10:10

lol, why thankyou! i must look into this more, sorry for the confusion and starting anything unworth while!

hazeyjane · 12/05/2010 10:16

I read the post and thought 'How dare she...etc'. Then read the thread and can see what an awful time you are having, JustSue.

It really would be a good idea to start another thread, asking for advice, whenever I have done this on MN I have received nothing but support.

I'm worried that people are going to keep on reading the op, and posting stuff which is just going to be upsetting for you.

mandyj9999 · 12/05/2010 10:19

shes right im sorry sue this is my fault, im sorry for the time you are having, maybe you should move this thread so you get the proper adive you need, i feel terrible for you, i should have read properly what i was doing, i just read the title adn went from there, my bad, i ma new so will read properly before i write anything in future x

Chulita · 12/05/2010 10:27

This is going to go on all day I reckon, I'm a shocker for not reading the whole thread but I do read the first and last pages which is why I have an idea of where this thread has moved to.
justsue I'm sorry about the massively tricky situation you find yourself in. I really hope you find a way to sort it all out and maybe find someone in RL to talk to about it all.
mandy that's quite a reaction!! Got a bit confused meself!

mandyj9999 · 12/05/2010 10:30

ditto to that chulita, i know i know, im having a bad day, i think i just lashed out for no apparent reason, baba not well, im stressed, and took a bit of a funny turn! i have to read the pages more, im a total div when it comes to this kinda thing x

mandyj9999 · 12/05/2010 10:31

I WILL learn lol x

OrmRenewed · 12/05/2010 10:34

Oh dear! Definitely get rid of thread justsue. Or it will carry on and on and on....

differentnameforthis · 12/05/2010 11:16

cupcakesandbunting & mandyj9999 & others...way to turn a supportive thread into a bun fight!

Yes, op ranted & raved...but then she calmed down & opened up to tell us what was wrong. She got some great advice in this thread.

Please don't post if you can't be bothered to read the whole thread!

glasgowmandy · 12/05/2010 11:28

sorry guys, deapest apologise

biddysmama · 12/05/2010 11:32

aibu to flip this poster the bird?

pedrothellama · 12/05/2010 11:49

At the huge, huge risk of jumping to a massive conclusion but JustSue you do tend to be upset and emotional around midnight/1am when you post then have calmed down by mid morning

Why is this - is it at that time you are lonely or feeling very down? Does something happen in the evenings to really get to you and you brood until midnight then feel the need to 'let it all out'?

Read back through your posts and tell me if I am wrong

cupcakesandbunting · 12/05/2010 12:02

Meh.

pedrothellama · 12/05/2010 12:04

Hi Cupcake.

(Whispers; What is meh?)

cupcakesandbunting · 12/05/2010 12:07

Hello Pedro. Very good article on "meh" here

www.guardian.co.uk/media/2007/mar/05/newmedia.broadcasting

tafi · 12/05/2010 12:12

hey,i'm a relative newbie and i haven't had any issues so far. i figured all problems on here are just as important and actually sometimes it's nice to get a little trivial coz life is difficult enough sometimes and we mums all need a break from the daily humdrum. it's also your choice to choose to listen to the bitching.we are women,we like to bitch by nature, just like you are doing! maybe you could post the issue with your father again and maybe some good will come of it this time.

pedrothellama · 12/05/2010 12:15

Blimey Cupcake

I was hoping for a neat little acronym, a whole article just to say 'Whatever'

I shall attempt to introduce the word to the office.

[walks away practicing say 'Meh, meh, meh in every possible way]

cupcakesandbunting · 12/05/2010 12:27

I was going to tell you that it means that you're finding a situation boring but it just wouldn't sum it up. Meh says so much!

I think it only works online tbh. When you actually say it out loud, you just sound like you've got a speech problem or are a bit drunk.

Oblomov · 12/05/2010 12:57

having skimmed the whole thread it appears that Op bitched, but actually needed help/support/listening to, and has now got that. Right ?
as you were.

pedrothellama · 12/05/2010 13:02

Oblomov

That's was what I did and that was the conclusion I came to.

I think maybe OP posted when 'tired and emotional'

Janos · 12/05/2010 13:20

Blimey, OP - why so angry?

MN is generally a great place for support and advice.

Not surprised people don't want to help you with that attitude tbh.

Janos · 12/05/2010 13:23

My last post was based purely on OP and therefore a bit harsh in light of what's happened - sorry justsue.

cupcakesandbunting · 12/05/2010 13:28

Don't be sorry fgs. We've all got various shite going on IRL. Doesn't mean you can be rude about an entire forum of people and then get away with it just because you're having a shit time.

JustSue, sorry you'e having a shit time but there was no need for the aggressive OP and you must have expected it to ruffle some feathers.

MorrisZapp · 12/05/2010 14:58

Now that sue has calmed down maybe she should take the advice given a million times over to start a new thread, otherwise people are going to respond to OP and start new arguments each time.

At the end of the day, based upon thread title and OP it is quite normal and acceptable that people will rant back at sue, so there's no point starting a new fight every time somebody does just that.

Start a new thread sue, not in AIBU. This one is going in circles.

justsue · 14/05/2010 04:01

Hi all , believe it or not I have been at my dads for about a million years (ok bout Twenty four hours lol). I have seen some fantastic advice on here, some mean advice, some advice that I would not even contemplate, some advice that does not even warrant a reply. YES I WAS WRONG FOR POSTING IN AIBU and again i apologise but sometimes we do or say the wrong things. I do not have anger issues, like I said before I am the most chilled out person you would meet.
I feel quite proud of myself tonight that my "father" was quite upset that I would be taking two days off to do my own thing and not be seeing him till Sunday.(TRULY DONT MEAN THAT IN A NASTY WAY ) Yes finally my other siblings are having to help me and for two days I am going to look after my own family (my daughter and NEW GRANDAUGHTER IM SO PROUD LOL ), I do have friends in RL but they are getting fed up of me moaning so yes I came on here to have a rant a rave, dont we all?

I dont often post and now feel that I should keep my "big mouth shut lol"

God its four in the morning and I am awake, need a life I reckon lol xxxxxxxxx

Bless you lovely, glad that your sibs are finally stepping up to the mark and doing something to help!
