AIBU to be cross with hubby for seeing other women naked in a sauna??

Hi, I am new here. Have lurked for a long time and enjoy reading through lots of threads on mumsnet.

SO, Am I being Unreasonable.

We went on holiday with friends last week and we had a sauna attached to our holiday accomodation. We had a bbq and then our friends went back to their holiday 'home' and I stayed at ours with kiddies who were asleep. Husband asked if he could go with friends to carry on drinking and chatting which I said was fine.

Next day he tells me they had a sauna, thats fine. However, I know here that 2 of the girls that were friends of our friends rather than close friends of ours, were naked.

I'm cross that he stayed, should I be?? Or should I just let it go and accept it?

YANBU when you put it like that. It's not really about the rights and wrongs of sauna nudity. You looked after the kids while he went off drinking and ended up naked in a sauna with some girls. That said I'd in your situation I'd have tackled it straightaway. I wouldn't bring it up some days after the event - unless, as an earlier poster said, you think he's the unfaithful type.

I think this is all widly out of proportion tbh.

What's the problem with a mixed sauna and nakedness?

I can confirm that in Lithuania for example it is frowned upon to wear a costume in a sauna, but you must wear sandals or something, and you must sit on a towel. All saunas I went to there are mixed. There is nothing inherently sexy about a sauna.

Does it really matter if he was sat there with a few naked girls? So he saw their tits - so what?

If my dp followed some drunk girls back to their villa in the middle of the night on holiday and sat with them naked in a sauna while I looked after the kids..

Dp would never do that, I dont think the situation would sit well with any respectful dp/dh.

It depends on whether he had a hankerchief tied in four knots on his head and kept his socks on with his sandals. If he didnt i would fuming!

I'd be more concerned that he thought a Sauna whilst drunk was a good idea.

Do you make him leave the pool if ladies are sunbathing round it topless, or is it just the nudity on the bottom half you object to?
