Like most people my dd and ds share a room we have a two bed, they love sharing but we will when they are older have to divide the room and get by, as we simply can not afford to buy a 3 bed house.

I am very grateful for what we have and in a way it could be worse I get on with my life but do get angry with myself and wish I had planned my future better finacially, and gone into a decent career after I left school ,aibu.

Love the image of a smile as big as Texas

Lucky you - whole summer there!

expatinscotland · 29/04/2010 23:07

It's a big grin, Quattro. Bigger than anything I've probably smiled.

Yep, whatever.

It's £16 in John Lewis.

The flat's £260/month.

Played poker tonight, up £25 on a freebie membership.

Lucky me.

southeastastra · 29/04/2010 23:08

texans are not exactly very bright are they though, if their death row is anything to go by

IAteABetaDadsBreadstick · 29/04/2010 23:09

FFS Can someone not just cut her typing fingers off?

AnyFucker · 29/04/2010 23:09

< fucks off the coffee and necks the whisky >

expatinscotland · 29/04/2010 23:09

And their presidents! Oh my.

Oh, wait, they aren't really Texan!

usualsuspect · 29/04/2010 23:10

southeastastra · 29/04/2010 23:10

who me?

AnyFucker · 29/04/2010 23:10

I used to love a Texan bar (shows age)

southeastastra · 29/04/2010 23:11

no let's just let mtv and the like dominate how we feel about world events, it'll be so much fun!!

Quattrocento · 29/04/2010 23:11

Well, it's generally a mistake to extrapolate and generalise about nations and people.

What would your average Swede make of Britons, eh? We're all overweight, under-educated neo-Nazis with bad teeth ...

IAteABetaDadsBreadstick · 29/04/2010 23:13

Eh?? Usual, not following you? ABetaDad is gluten intolerant, can't eat breadsticks, as a result this popped in my head as a humourous name with its oh so funny double meaning. Not an 'in joke' just something that evolved like all user names I suppose... is there a problem with that?

Lonicera · 29/04/2010 23:13

speak for yourself Quat

well I am overweight.....

IAteABetaDadsBreadstick · 29/04/2010 23:15

I am now officially totally fucking lost.

Time for bed. Night all

expatinscotland · 29/04/2010 23:15

I have a British passport.

I voted.

AnyFucker · 29/04/2010 23:16

night, IAte

I think I will toddle too...my shed has gone

IAteABetaDadsBreadstick · 29/04/2010 23:17

Nite AF (whispers, I like your name)

expatinscotland · 29/04/2010 23:20

I was born in a city that now has a population of 4m. My dad jokes, 'They never include the illegals!'

The high school from with I graduated now has pupils who register 40 different native languages.

The state's electoral votes are based on its total population of over 29m.

Not so bright, eh?

My dad's younger brother went to Standford Medical School on a full ride scholarship. He's a professor of anesthesiology. Not bad for a boy who never spoke English until he was 5.

One of his daughters went to Massachusetts Institute of Technology on a full ride. She's a chemical engineer straight out of San Antonio. The other is a teacher living in Italy with her husband, a West Point Academy officer currently deployed in Afghanistan.

My dad was a petroleum engineer.

So's my brother-in-law.

Not so bright, eh.

What do you do for a living again, south?

AnyFucker · 29/04/2010 23:21

no need to whisper

have you any idea what is going on ?

and do I know you ?

can you help me at all ?

expatinscotland · 29/04/2010 23:21

Well, I like it, too, AnyFucker.

But then, I would .

expatinscotland · 29/04/2010 23:22
