to not want DP to go in a lapdancing club on his mates stag do?

my dp is off on a stag night in a couple of months. its just a load of mates going out in town but there has been talk about them going in lapdancing bars.

i have laughed it off to my dp and tried to be the cool girlfriend about it and made out i couldnt care less as i dont want to seem controlling or jealous. i have even said i dont care if he has a private dance! because i want to come across as cool, as i know his ex used to stop him doing things and i dont want to be like that as he really resented her for it.

but i HATE the idea of it and know i will be furious if he does end up in one. the thought of him ogling some naked girl/s who will probably be a)younger then me b)prettier than me and c)have a better body than me (i have had 2 kids, say no more) kills me....i know that it would only be a laugh for them and nothing would happen other than them looking at the girls but i would be so jealous, coz how could he not compare their young fit bodies to my 30 year old, had-2-kids body?

so i am kind of testing him in a way by saying i dont care, and "allowing" him to go in one, but surely if he loved and fancied me as much as he says he does he wouldnt need to go look at sexy young girls?

also the stag's bride is my best friend (in fact i will be on her hen do the same night) and i know for a fact she would go nuts if she found out her husband to be had been in one as we have already spoken about it and she has the same insecurities as me.

What are you saying bitoffun.....that I'm a troll you can't get rid of..?...thanks for that...

LG...you just keep taking the piss out of me....I have given up on you..

posieparker · 31/03/2010 17:37

On a friend's stag night they all piled down to one of the many seedy LD places in Bristol. Both wives were certain their Dh's would hate it and find it embarrassing, one had a lesbian LD(two of the 'beauties')and went along with the crowd and the other hung out trying not to be seen and kept texting his wife when would be enough time spent there not to be rude, he hated every second and found it seedy and very embarrassing. Both wives knew their husband s, only one was right! Perhaps you're that one.

You are missing the fact that most of the posters who claimed that were trolls from another forum, LeQueen. Ask MrQ if he is familiar with CUK?

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 31/03/2010 19:27

But I've read the same things elsewhere - that there are many LD bars where touching is strictly forbidden, and so on. Why do some people not accept that it's true - at least in some LD bars?

daftpunk · 31/03/2010 19:29

Because it's one of my fav books...I kinda guessed you'd read it too....maybe I was trying to chat to you about something we might have in common rather than you going nuts at me, like you always do these days...
but I'm wasting my time, as soon as one of your mates turn up it's all "thank god you've turned up, this idiot is giving me nightmares"...

..Why the hell do I care ?....maybe it's because you like football...

Of course I understood her...bloody hell...her mother was a toned down version of my mother...

I understand that you can't help who you are sexually attracted to....I really do understand that....but it's what you decide to do about it....that's the lifestyle choice.

DP methinks thou doth protest too much.....

Sometimes what disgusts us most are the things we fear and do not understand and the things we fear to understand are those we may quite like.

Oblomov · 31/03/2010 20:04

I agree with everyhting LeQueen has said. LD clubs are not great, but some of them are not as horrendous as some of the posters on here are making out.
And as MelonLemon said the Op is a dormat,. she wants to be cool. grow up. start speaking to your dp adn tell him you don't want him to go. and go and get some confidence and stop acting like the immature dormat you are.
"but i HATE the idea of it and know i will be furious if he does end up in one. the thought of him ogling some naked girl/s who will probably be a)younger then me b)prettier than me and c)have a better body than me (i have had 2 kids, say no more) kills me....i know that it would only be a laugh for them and nothing would happen other than them looking at the girls but i would be so jealous, coz how could he not compare their young fit bodies to my 30 year old, had-2-kids body?"
err what. grow up. men can ogle women in the paper. infact one poster mentioned that and then went on to say, but thats not the same thing. errr . it is.

my husband and both like looking at pictures of lucy pinter. the woman is stunningly beautiful , with the most perfect breats. i think she is lovely.
my dh likes kelly brook aswell.
i never worry that my dh is going to leave me. well he might if kelly brook begged him .
i wonder does the Op worry that hre dp is going to run off with every bit of crumpet that walks down wimbeldon high street in the summer in tiny hot pants and a boob tube. or strolls down brighton beach ? becasue we drove through wimbeldon adn dh commented on all the crumpet and some of the girls were beautiful. we joked that we couldn't live there coz we are old fat, wobbly post children oldies. and we laffed and laffed.

do you have any security, love or confidence in your relationships ? i am wondering ?

Oblomov · 31/03/2010 20:07

sorry Lucy PinDer. we both like her. i mean like her as in I am not a lesbian at all, at all, but can appreciate other beautiful women.

daftpunk · 31/03/2010 20:09

Difficult question to answer LG...I thought the book was quite sad in alot of ways..... and I'm not even sure why I think that....must admit, last time I read it was about 10 years ago...maybe I'll read it again tonight..

Malificence · 31/03/2010 20:12

PP, I found Gay40s "straight women" comment absolutely disgusting, I neither fear gay women ( or men) nor secretly want to be a lesbian.

If someone had said to her that a good fucking by a man would "cure her" , everyone would rightly be appalled - how come nobody has pulled her up on her disgraceful statement? It was every bit as obscene as her wives = prostitutes diatribe.
