So eye aryvd 2 lt 4 this,

Can't do text speak, methinks it is the work of the devil willing our teens to be illiterate.

Doodleydoo · 23/03/2010 20:24

cookiejo · 26/03/2010 18:24

wow i guess thats me told. iam so glad i have a thick skin because people cpuld be offended by that scathing comments that people make and as for saying i know everything i did say if you can read it completely that i have been through a lot but then again i am assuming that you all who comment on things you dont know about in my life have been through more

thanks anyway thought i would try this out to see if i could find like minded parents who can chat and laugh

Yes you see cookiejo, that's where perhaps you weren't your own best friend... Posting on AIBU, in text speak and kind of coming across a little blasé....

Best way to help is find threads you can identify with, and have something to offer and go for it.

and FGS never, ever to use that goddawful text speak...

Lulumaam · 26/03/2010 20:45

well, instead of asking if you are being unreasonable, teh best thing to do is just to respond to threads where people are asking for help

there are lots of experienced parents on MN, grandparents too, and we all just pile in and offer help where we can
